Never thought of that! Just so you know, the mixing heats up the mixture. If you let it set still for 10-15 min, then mixed for 5 min and repeat, it would a go lot quicker.

Maybe for thee, but definitely not for me. Looks kind of gross. I combine many things in different dishes, but this combination doesn’t look appetizing.

Disgusting that you picked up a cat that paws around in a liter box, and put it up on a kitchen counter 🤮

150 minutes to make? you could have driven to Sun-Mart in a warm car and bought a half gallon of vanilla in that time 🙃 lol 😉 even Jax was like what the heck 🤷♂️ this was fun to watch, made me laugh, thanks for braving the cold. I was hoping we would receive more snow in Erath County Texas so I could make some homemade snow ice cream. have fun in the sun my social media friend ✌️

Flake. Your. Tuna. It's the most important step to tuna salad. No one like biting into a dense hunk of unflaked tuna. Take your time with that step.

The Jalapeño are not chips, flavored potato chips, or even the dried Jalapenos like dried onions you put on top of casseroles (although those are great on salads, or even in this tuna salad.). I have made this recipe about 5-6 times in large batches (it lasts all week in the refrigerator), before the video went viral and people started filming their try at it. The Jalapeños Matthew M. is using are dried, yes but they are suspended in an oil in a jar. They are ground pretty fine and have a crunch to them. There are follow-up videos of Matthew where people are asking him about them and he describes. Check out Don Chilio brand "Chili Crisp" as an example in a 5 oz. jar. There are several type chilis available, including Jalapeno. I have found other brands in Albertsons and Grocery Outlet and I believe Vons here in Southern Coastal California. Also, I have done the recipe with several kinds of Tuna and prefer White Albacore...but any kind is fine. Going through all the effort, I usually make up a batch with about 4+ cans of Tuna....it's great for sandwiches, with crackers or on top of a bed of Romaine Lettuce, etc. I grew up in the deep south so apples in Tuna or Chicken salad was not new.....the Wasabi though....GENIUS!!! and you can fine tune to taste so you taste the Wasabi but not a huge hit like with Sushi, etc. For what it's worth, I have tried Salmon, good too. Tonight I even used fresh rockfish (California fish like Cod or Sea bass) cooked from the night before and fresh corn and it was great. Another suggestion, if you don't want to get peas and corn separately you can use a part bag of the frozen mixed peas, corn, green beans and carrot squares. Once they marinade for a day in the mayo, lemon, vinegar (I use the same vinegar as this video ((white wine)), Italian Dressing for a day the veggies absorb those flavors and blend right in. The above is just "food for thought" and all the combinations I have tried above all came out great. ....BUY THE WAY, nice video, concise and easy to follow.

Hi Emily. I enjoyed the video. I didn’t think twice about trying and had no problem with the sweet kitty. I have a black one too. However, your dog is identical to mine❣️ same colorings and all. What kind of dog is he/she? Mine is said to be a wolf/huskie mix, but she is a scaredy-cat 😅. She is soo smart tho. Keep up the videos ❤

I can not even believe you actually picked up the cat and then placed it on the counter! I don't like flies landing on my counters, let along touch them. What ever happened to hygienically clean? I mean I've seen people wear Latex, Vinyl, and Nitrile gloves, but I only just keep a very strong mental awareness of where my hands have been and wash them vigorously befor I get going on cooking.
@InTheKitchenWithEmily8 күн бұрын
Your hands are clean if you wash them! Gloves can actually be dirtier because people have a false perception that they are clean when they wear them. But you can contaminate gloves just as easily as your hands. Don’t worry, she was not on a cooking surface! And I washed my hands.
