This G-1 may appear authentic but closer inspection reveals that it is not. Dimensions may be correct but that aside, one would never be caught dead with those patches on the jacket. Where is the world does a SeaBee belong on a G-1? A Navy anchor pin? Give me a break.

I have it too. But I know Avirex is the commercial type of G1. Patches are not the same. I loved it when I was a boy. But then I decided to make it on my own. I bought a G1 jacket and search all the patches worn in the movie. And I did it.

@@mysterio1012 - Who cares about the company?? I had mine customs made in Japan in 1990 with all original patches, and turned out to be a better quality compared to the original company, which started making these G1. I paid then US750.00 back then. Worth every penny!!
