There is one thing that would make me go back to Blizzard. Imagine this: An adventure mode! 1-60 takes as long as it did in classic. 61-70 takes as long as it did when TBC came out. 71-80 takes as long as it did when WotLK came out and so on. Sure, at one point they reduced the total max level, so you can even say that you level from 1-30 in the classic area. Of course, they need to fiddle with the numbers a bit but I would love that! I hate it so much that there is so so so much content but Blizzard nearly forbids you from playing it (sure, you can make one char for every expansion and then use chromie, but thats not the same as having one gigantic adventure). As someone who played WotLK classic on offical servers and who only plays a bit every evening, it took me around 2 months to reach 80. And this includes the fact that 1-70 are faster than in classic/TBC. And I love the thought of playing for a year and still learning new abilities. At my pace of playing maybe one new ability every week. Being able to really live through the complete journey is what WoW is missing for me.

just be aware for anyone new players. The people on this server are way bigger scumbags then you will meet anywhere else, they ninja loot everything because they know the GM's dont do a single thing.

This server has a dragonflight UI addon which is so nice. Especially since it adds the grid when your moving your frames. It’s amazing

only a pvp server gives real immersion in the game, if you don't just want to spam dungeons, you enjoy world pvp, occasional pvp, adventures, meeting enemies in SV, fighting for territories, feel the progression of character development, you have to choose a pvp server. I have several characters on a pve server, and the pleasure of playing on telabim is incomparably greater. the pve server is boring, soulless, shallow, and all you can do is spam dungeons, which doesn't really translate into anything, because you don't feel your character's progression, because you just stand in the city and go to dungeons. the whole world is alive on the pvp server, and hc player's caravans are simply world champions!! only telabim.

Word of warning, the server is run by crooks. They generate and sell to rmt sites, gold, items and characters. They sell your login and password credentials too.

I tried the free trial version of retail, man was it bad. But THIS actually made me consider playing. Do I still have to buy the base game and /per month? Should be free by now, in my opinion. ^^ - 2 things I would really like to see: zepelin to undercity/bluff etc and faster flying paths.

Imo to improve the experience one has to shift their focus from fast leveling to maximizing fun And for me that means deactivation automatic quest text and not using any quest addons Leveling will be slow but it makes much more fun to read the quests and stories and explore the world looking for quest objectives. There are so many new quests in turtle wow, you don’t have to accept every quest anymore and optimize your routes. Just accept those that seem interesting and might have a good story about them. This is exactly what I am missing on retail wow and other versions of wow but I feel this is the way turtle wow is meant to be played. At least for me, this is what improving the leveling experience means for me.

what server should i choose in turtle wow? is the rp server the best?

How is the world pvp on Turtlewow during leveling and what is the server balance (A/H ratio) like? Are the low/mid level zones active and do people actually have the Warmode feature enabled?

My mage is level 57 and I kind of lost interest in leveling it. I think, firstly, I need to turn off war mode. World pvp was fun when people were your level, but geared 60s are not a fair fight at all.

Turtle wow has been the most fun private server I have been on in years. The fact they add raids, new zones, add to the story and make the questing great shows the care they have. Questing and mobs. Not just spamming dungeons. It's great.

Direct and straight to the points :) I've been thinking of embarking on my own adventure in TurtleWoW, but I like to read up on the game beforehand and listen to what people think of the game. But that's kind of difficult right now as the forums are inaccessible. And while the addons page on the wiki is great, it's sorely lacking in information elsewise. Also choosing a class when the journey takes such a long time is difficult. I'm torn between hunter and shaman, what issues with the classes have been adressed in this game? Because I don't really feel like playing the same class as they are in the official classic era.
