The part I like the most about your videos is that you don't just discuss the material, static side of the story but you explain why things came to happen through the historical context. Most people would cover Italian armor just as pieces of metal while you explain the life, power and organization behind that. Without mentioning the countless extra videos that provide with that context

Drives me crazy how Gothic armor overshadows White Milanese Armor in most people's mind. Lombard armor is nothing short of stunning both in its asymmetrical beauty and the avanguardue production system.

I would not say you are extreme beyond right, I would simply say differently right.

Asking myself that same question as I slog through mexican law school but just wanting to study history on my own as I have been doing the past 4 years and open my own youtube channel and be happy... sad thing is I live with my family and here it's what your family says and not what you want to do... to them history is just "things that happened and don't hand out 6 figure paychecks" this system takes the life out of me... call me weak or non traditional or wretched or ungrateful to the men who died so that I could have this... but you know, I am the one living it right now, and it sucks XD not as much as it sucked for them, but it still sucks. It sucks, it's all communistic and non traditional and the lawyer teachers openly tell you you're just gonna go out there and screw people over and perpetuate the same system they complain about. Makes no sense to me!

I also find it difficult to understand how inexplicably overrated and overrepresented Burgundy is when one considers the most basic political and military history of the system. It almost gives me the impression that people appreciate it solely for the color it has in video games and as a sort of more 'German' French alter ego to counter the French, without truly grasping how fragile the entire political and institutional foundation of this power really was
