If a non-fire agency, such as DOT or Police were to look into using this, what features would be applicable for them? I know this bar was designed for fire services, but I'd still like to know what would be available.

Do agree, however if for let's say 2% more you can make that truck look 100% cooler to the point firefighters are more proud about their job and you can make it so more dudes want to be a firefighter them that is quite a cheap way of getting more firefighters. Not sure if i explain that in a good way but English is only my third language

Interestingly, the truck you see here isn’t actually your typical ambulance configuration, at least in my state but I think it’s very similar nationally. To start, we don’t have a small external storage door, or entry door. For the most part our access is via a sliding door that takes up the entire side of the truck. Our monitor also sits on a charging dock to the right of the side entry when in use, or to the left of the side entry when not being used. We access our main response kits to the left of the side entry as well, underneath the charging dock on the left. Other gear is accessed via the overhead compartments and that’s about all. Ours typically aren’t boxy, but there’s a few floating around that are, and they typically have two stretchers or are bariatric ambulances. The one in this video seems to be an Americanised prototype. And while I am jealous of the amount of room in American ambulances, I like that ours can fit into smaller areas, and it saves space when ramped too
