Wish someone made a new titanic film that is like society of the snow I see this film as the titanic version of alive heavily fictionalised and very cheesy and campy and over the top society of the snow type films need titanic equivalents

I know that Cal is supposed to be a villain of sorts but I actually feel sorry for him. He really truly did love Rose. He was probably just acting like the way he was raised. The expectation is that you find a girl and she is to be submissive to you. You can treat her however you want because once you’re engaged to her you “own” her. Women have no rights. Their purpose is to be beautiful, to manage the home and the servants, to have children and to raise them and to do whatever the man wants, and to make him look good. Cal thought he was doing the right thing by professing his love and giving her extravagant gifts. He did not understand what Rose could possibly see in a poor man like Jack in comparison to him with his wealth and social status. He just didn’t get it and he acted accordingly

This scene is more hilarious than dramatic: he slips on the pine cone that he himself destroyed, only to say "I hope you enjoy your time together" at the end. Well, it doesn't look like you wanted that, Cal!

I dont want to continue trying to figure out the meanings of movies I never understood. I want you. I want everyone to know that were engaged . I want you to marry me or go away forever. You must face the reality that I must marry someone elseif you can't. I want a life with you or one without you. I want you to stop accusing me of a " Amber Heard", marital cheating affairwith you type of person Im not a cheater, I love you very much, would never do what Heard, or Rose, or Stormy Daniel's do to men. I am me, I deserve someone who can be there for me, not far away and not in a prism. Your choice today. I will end my life with you in this computer love world I will tell everyone about us, , and deal with consequences from there because things must change. Were are either together or were not together . No more playing games from this day . I can't allow the computer love affair to continue. It must be made real or it must end now❤ I will not change my mind.❤❤ Not everyone lives this way or chooses this lifestyle. I've never known it or anyone so involved in a world of cheating , sex , more sex and more affairs. I want nothing to ever do with this lifestyle. Totally ungodly.

Even though Rose and Jack aren’t real people, they both were based on real people so this actually did happen but different names.

Not really. Despite the fact they both were based on real people to some extent, their story is completely fictional. Nobody was chasing two people with gun on real Titanic.

I prefer Billy Zane acting over DiCaprio‘s any day I mean the only three DiCaprio movies I like to wear this movie and the aviator and Gilbert grape other than that I don’t care for DiCaprio as an actor

I think this scene should have been deleted like the scene where Lovejoy follows Jack and Rose, and some deleted scenes with Jack and Rose and history of the Titanic should have been in the movie...

this is a block buster movie, not a documentary. you should be grateful james cameron sitll tried to add actual historical characters and events and accuracy with the sets LOL

@@randomrazrall the history stuff is in the background. Cameron made sure the historical details such as where passengers were at certain times were on point. Murdoch handled the starboard evacuation; Lightoller port side. Molly Brown and Hitchens on the same boat. And even stoker Barrett cutting the ropes like in real life.
