Your CLEARLY a faster driver. Some of his defensive positions/moves are just dangerous. I’ve plenty of laps done on both international and national tracks on bikes and race cars so I’m not completely talking through my whole. Racing is is racing but your CLEARLY faster.

I’m in the car in front 😂 But you’re right, Cian in the F3 is faster than me in my F4 level Formula Renault - over a lap. But I managed to beat him off the line and defend to hold him behind. We are good mates and both of us enjoyed the race a lot - perfectly clean driving from both of us!

Will a stage 3 turbo fit on the 2008 formula renault 2.0? I've been thinking about getting one but they lack a bit of power so if I were to get I would like a bit more power than the F3's. Also what produces more downforce, the 2013 FR rear wing or Dallara F308 or F312 rear wing? Some good driving.

I’ve most of the work done for turboing my car. It’s a lot of fabricating etc but can be done. I don’t think you can really take any one component on its own when it comes to downforce. All parts work in conjunction with each other. An F3-08 and F312 will have more downforce than a Renault.

@@barryrabbitt thanks barry. How much power will your car make after the turbo is installed? Are you turboing a seperate engine so you can still race? Also what is fabricating? I assume is to do with working with metal?

How many sets of tyres will you go through in a weekend? Some good driving

This race was done on tyres that had done 2 previous race weekends back in 2020!! New tyres are a privilege for most club racers :)

@@barryrabbitt wow them tyres last a while. What is the pace difference between the FR and the F3 in terms of lap time? Also is there much difference between a 2008 FR and a 2013 FR?

My brother races a 2008 FR and as drivers we would be well matched. Probably about 1.5 seconds per minute slower than my car. A F3 would be about 2 seconds per minute faster than my 2013 Renault

@@barryrabbitt was debating between an F3 or FR in the future. The only affordable F3 seems to be the F302 which I think still has a manual. Still trying to think if 2 seconds is an extra 25k.

Number 2 moves around too much. If it was f1 he would get a drive through. Excellent driving from on Barry besides getting at bit too close at early stage.
