Thank you for the info. They are not illegal they are just not recommended . From your link "Unfortunately, some styles and sizes of legal traps are very effective at catching and drowning turtles." " Anglers are encouraged to use traps with minimally-sized circular openings, to reduce the chance of capturing turtles" More info www.fishnbc.com/species/crawfish.html#:~:text=In%20BC%20you%20may%20trap,trap%2C%20you%20can%20be%20creative. In BC you may trap crawfish with any number or size of traps for personal consumption, but you must release all finfish caught in the trap. Since there are no definitions or restrictions on what constitutes a crawfish trap, you can be creative We only caught the 2 crayfish in the short time of using this trap and released them. Pro tip when drilling the holes instead of drilling it with the holder on put the holder in put it in the perfect position then sharpie inside the holes makes it so theres less of a chance of damaging to holder or over drilling

Yes we stayed 3 out of 4 nights as we no clearwater is a small town and tried to give them the time to correct things. But 3 nights of poor sleep was enough for us

We stayed 4 nights. 3 nights at the hotel civilia... would not recommend. We made a video about it. And one night at quality inn. Video coming, would stay there again. There are also lots of camping spots if interested We had a great time there. Clearwater is a nice friendly small town. If you have any questions we can happily try to help
