The comfort is not 8 / 10 , it's more like 4 , for the first month it's extremely comfy and has lots of cushion, after that all comfort is gone, and it's just like wearing any other trainer

question ever experience laces too long problem and do you have any solutions to fix the stock laces a certain way or did you just buy shorter laces

You would have to loosen the laces, you probably have them too tight around the tongue if you know what I mean. Loosen them from the bottom of the tongue where the toe box is all the way from the top of the shoe
