I'm not sure what you meant by "not very good". Mini-Z's are a bit of a niche product, and Kyosho seems to sell them without really presenting how to get the most out of them. Rechargeable batteries are a must. Once you learn the car's characteristics, it's time to switch it to full power mode. Your video was unclear if you were still in training mode. For serious drifting, a gyro is quite helpful. IMHO, the AWD cars make great home race cars, and do best on foam (RCP) track. Hope you have fun with your car(s).

Thanks sorry for the late response, I have gotten better at the drifting part with the mini z . I like this little machine it has been great fun . I have a new battery system is plan on putting in it , just have to do some soldering work . With the not being very good comment I was definitely referring to my drifting skills . Cool brother I got the same Bronco on a shelf took it out of the box changed shocks, wheels and tires, and put a driver on it but haven’t used it yet. To be honest I don’t even know if it works since I never connected it a battery to test it. 🤦♂️🤦♂️. I have no where to run my 1/10 scales, that’s why I havent been so active. I gave away half on the 1/24 track I built also bought a 36 inches RC speed boat. Plenty on of water here in Florida. BTW how is your recovery from that accident?

Thanks man . Love the Bronco it climbs great. Sounds sweet l love my little jet boats but hardly ever use them . I have been working hard on my recovery and iam moving way better almost done with the cane and can pedal the bike up to 25km hours for about 20 min or so then iam done . So slow but gradually thanks for asking. Looking forward to seeing the boat . Have a great day .

If you want a hobby grade RC tracked vehicle but don't want a tank, then there really isn't much choice. It is a pity that Kyosho hasn't exploited this chassis a bit more by giving us some different body options.

I am making a small 1:18 course in my "backyard", one and half meters wide and four meters long. And I broke my head thinking how to make a balancer. Then I saw yours, and like "yeah this is it! A board and a log will do it".

Sorry for the late reply my friend iam busy with physical therapy and trying to get back to normal. The surgeon and doctor's say it can take a year or more . However I have done better than they thought. Thanks for watching I do appreciate 🙏 it .

Im having an issue of the truck working intermittently, if i keep using controls on the truck every 5 or 6 seconds it will work for about 2 seconds then stop again for another 5 or 6 seconds. Totally random. Cant figure it out. I unplugged the servo and it worked the first time i tested but then went back to intermittently working. Also tryed unplugging the shift servo and doesnt work.

Sorry for the late reply . I ended up changing the esc , that seems to have fixed my problems with it . I did have similar issues so might work on your aswell.
