This is amazing, she put aside her own feelings and actually asked Charlotte to be her sons mom, she knows that she can’t be there and trusts Charlotte enough

There is nothing wrong with being a single dad/mom…both can raise a child on their own perfectly fine. Just sometimes there are things a dad can teach that a mother can’t and vice versa. My momma was a single mother and she did great but there are times where I wish I could have just had my dad

She's not saying Cooper couldn't be a single father and do a fine job. She's a dying mother giving the woman in Cooper's life her blessing to be a mother to the child she's leaving behind. She's telling Charlotte she trust her and believes in her.

This is beautiful to me....Brought tears to my eyes...all the great memories of my Uncle...such a Family Treasure....Thank you for sharing.... Love and Miss you Uncle Poody.... you sure did influence my life, and so did Aunt Kathy.... and I was blessed to have you in my life...more memories than I can count.... He helped keep us going.... and now as I look back, I'm sad to think of what I missed in a child's eyes...the whole time...I always loved hearing him sing..."I still miss someone"....Wow...

Lexie Rocks A child needs a mother and a father. To go through life without that balance can be a big difference than if a kid only had one parent.

Lexie Rocks it is very possible to live with only a dad. Yes a mom is beneficial to the brain development of a child but every single day, dads raise their children to be amazing people without the child's mom there.

I think what she meant is that since Mason grew up with his mom he would still need one after she was gone. Cooper could have been a single dad but Erica didn't want Mason to lose the only mother he had left so she asked Charlotte to stick by him and love him as her own.

it is very hard to raise a child as a single parent. it is much easier when you share the burden. and yes, raising a child is a burden. it is also a privilege.

This was my brother Glenn's reaction to LeBron's Game 4 winner against the Bulls. He had taped the game because he was unable to watch it in "real" time. My SIL knew who won so she taped his reaction. It's classic!!

This song is as if it was written for this unforseen tragic shooting in Conn.It should be the anthem all across America to help heal broken hearts, and soothe the soul. I hear such kindness in Josh's voice in this song.I lost a child, so I know how something this achingly beautiful can help! My heart breaks for all these families. Thank you for this.
