I think we are in this weird situation where they are having these roadblocks and so many people on squadron that it's going to be a slow and treacherous couple patches until we really start seeing some movement . But, optimistically, I feel like at some.point soon we are.going to see development really start exploding and progressing, they just need to get squadron out...

@@Elguapoe I have theory it's the 10 years of bad decisions legacy code that's holding them up ... past couple years of trying to rip out peices of legacy and slam new hotness in is fighting them. Yea. And it is all possible and the jaded player base is understandable. And I think it's clear that they have messed up in many regards, especially communication and priorities / these damn deadlines and features. We all love SC and hate it at times. This is all passion.... And I think this thing we are all involved in and experiencing will get good at some point all we can do is wait and see what they do and try to hold them accountable when they screw us over.

@@s7r49 lmao. Well, servers are worse than they have ever been. Every night it's pretty damn bad, but... Aside from that they tweaked the rock sizes again pushing favor back to the mold a little bit. Still have the hard cap of around 41k rock breaks solo. Still can't do three surges at once with one laser. If they end up resetting the servers or getting it under control, it will be pretty good.

Honestly..try to jump servers till you have one that isn't lagging behind by multiple seconds when you open doors. That is an instant indicator if the server is extremely trash. Have patience and go slow and watch for instability spikes. Id your power just stops while mining, you are going to get spiked when all that data catches up with the server, so easy back or look away from the rock until it does catch up. It's going to be a challenge but, it's doable.

@@T2rx6 same as last patch pretty much. Since we've been doing the zero to hero, haven't really kitted out the mole too much. Prospector I was running helix with a focus and surge, or focus stampede, sometimes reiger c2 and stampede. Mole it's definitely going to be helix with surge surge stampede / focus surge stampede, same for impact, and 2 focus on the arbor.

@@Elguapoe Thanks man! Cool that's the kit I run on my Mole thanks to you as well. I'll have to consider what I use on the prospector. I think I have two passives on the prospector and would benefit from an active.. I haven't had much luck with the gadgets this patch so far.. But servers are definitely rough.

@T2rx6 I mean, with how bad servers have been. If you are still putting in orders and making profit, you are a cut above the rest. Many have quit and succumbed to the server. As for prospector, if you have a surge and a c3 on a helix you can expect 20k's easy. Two surges....well you get the idea. Since you can really find tune how much power you want to give a rock by playing with the distance and power, it can be pretty damn fun running the more difficult helix on the prospector

Night mining has always been better imo because of the colors CIG decided to make the cluster bubbles and being under the disguise of the night has always worked out well in our favor, problem is ( especially when heading over to microtech, is calliope and Clio are SUPER damn dark. Thank you for reminding me, I will try to make a habit while out in MT to prioritize the daytime mining.

Nah, no way. what you saw was Chris Roberts doing some sort of black magic on the kingpins laser, rendering it extremely overpowered for about a half a second, then his muscle seized up and he is lucky to be alive tbh. Could have also been wind and that force pull from the pyro system.

You are correct. Go back to the episode where I first bought the prospector (bought, not rented). Part of my plan was to buy some mole bags off of a viewer once I got it. You can see the process happen at the station. Anytime you have a prospector the first thing you should do is find someone to help you out and give you some mole bags from their ship. But you can watch the process a few episodes back.
