You are not removing it correctly. Supposed to heat it and always pull diagonally upwards. Pulling back like you are doing risks pulling poorly bonded paint off and leaves glue residue. Might be an idea to follow the PPF manufacturers removal recommendations in future.

Bad removal would not trust to do proper instal. Also I see paint damage where the impact was so that’s a lie too

ppf is not a forcefield. it protects your paint on certain damages or impacts and not from everything. imagine that car without ppf. he would have to go bodyshop and have it repainted including the adjacent panels and would take weeks and will have the risk of not blending it properly and defects like dust nibs, etc. definitely ppf is very good of a protection you just have to find a skilled installer.
