Saw "Swans" in Riga. "The Hanging Man" and "Ebbing" live are nothing like the studio versions. When you're there, these sounds are so powerful the walls are shaking. These pieces grab you by the intestants and don't let go until Michael puts his hands down. It's a mind melting experience.

A Swans concert where 5/6 of the band’s lineup has been also a part of Angels Of Light at some point, playing mostly songs from an album that sounds like an AOL album (not saying it’s a bad thing) There is really no difference to me and it’s tiring to see all these “oh Gira must be struggling/dying!!” threads just because he decided to sit down and made a death-themed record (as he wasn’t doing that for his whole career)
