Candida, Steve, Marc, Nick, Russell Junior et Jarvis, merci pour cette prestation. Ma première fois était à chier. Mais en vous écoutant ce n'est plus nécessaire de m'en préoccuper.

It is indeed, he played for Pulp from 1998-2002, and appeared during some of their 2011-2012 shows too :)

@belberalis that's not doc. House. Its Hugh Laurie, a british actor who plays the role of dr. House. No surprises he's there, he worked with BBC and likes Pulp :) After all this was 9 yrs ago.

Considering Jarvis had been making music since the late 70s at this point, he still looked so young!

One day in the early 2000s I heard a song on the radio and was "WTF was that? it's great!". The DJ then said it was Pulp. Again I was "WTF? Pulp did "common people"." That was then. Tonight I thought "try to work out what is was. I'm pretty sure it's something from We Love Life.

@cashelblue90 In fact, the band was conceived in 1978 - although that is being a fair bit flippant. It wasn't even until 1989 or so that the line-up that produced His 'n' Hers got together. 1989 wasn't even having a sniff of Britpop. Pulp are my favourite band. I wish I could just say "I listen to Pulp" and people would know what kind of person I am.

Pulp actually formed in 1978! When Jarvis was 15. They are a key player in the 'Britpop' movement, although Jarvis and many others like Brett Anderson from Suede hate that term!

@robboturner without doubt an underrated album - just mazing how mainstream music mised this band with the exception of one or two hits. Their lyrics are in my head daily.
