@@KS-gw4je I have no idea I'm afraid, I travel using my own transport. However, most Thai provinces are well serviced by minivans, up to commercial bus routes, google would be a good source of routes, prices, etc. Ride-share apps are popular here. As Chachoengsao is relatively close to Bangkok, this may also be an option, depending on your budget / number of passengers, I believe Grab and Bolt are two of the most popular / well used apps here. I don't recall the exact statistic, but I read that only a handful of provinces account for the lion's share of tourist visits, both foreign and domestic, there are many hidden gems across the kingdom, that rarely get seen by western eyes.

I honestly don't know. I believe it is a traditional offering, where you don't actually pay the monk to tattoo you, but you donate to the temple instead. Usually, a token donation offering of fruit is presented to the monk. It gets very busy there, so you would need to wait. Either be semi-fluent in Thai or take a trusted Thai friend with you to translate and communicate.

apologies for a lack of content, the last few months I have been very busy, and just as the holidays were approaching, and a chance to travel, Thailand has suffered a serious covid outbreak, which has quickly spread to all provinces with a few thousand cases, and more being added daily. It looks like a partial and possibly full lockdown in the coming days. Thank you for your kind words though, I hope to be back on the road later in 2021 and have some interesting and unusual places to visit on my list.
