Dog has a back garden the size of a field. Dog gets to go in actual field, unleashed, to run and fight and play. Your dogs are very lucky to have such wonderful people!

That looks to be a birth defect and is a lot smaller than the other leg so the only thing a vet can do is amputate. The dog doesn’t seem to be in pain so there is no need for an unnecessary surgery, he just has a lucky fin.

@@trashpanda4840Thank you!! You’re absolutely right! 🤍 She was born with a deformed paw and the vet said as long as she doesn’t get any open wounds, there was no need for amputation since she does sometimes use it. That was almost 8 years ago and still going strong 💪🏼 💪🏼💪🏼

Was surgical correction not an option? Not a judgment. I love that they look happy, and healthy. I just work at a vet surgery center and am curious @kristynweaver1819

@@tyrajenkins6135 The vet gave us that option when she was a puppy, but said as long as she doesn’t get any open wounds on the bottom of it, she could keep it. As she got older, we realized that she liked to use it and is smart about only using it on soft surfaces and not hard ground. She can move it from her shoulder to elbow! She will use it to help dig holes and literally knock on doors when she wants in somewhere 🤣 she hasn’t had any open wounds or anything of concern and she’s almost 8 now 😊
