Not sure if you will see this brother Tim but if you do I would be interested to see a reply. First thank you for serving the Lord as you do through your robust teaching in everything from your devotion to scripture to the fore fathers, Pilgrims Progress, Lexicons, etc. Concerning this issue I always spread the word of caution and how we refer to brothers and sisters that are of the "Charismatic" (if you will) belief, as well as all others. How we refer to a group of believers, true members of the household of faith, especially if we wish to see them corrected, should be done carefully, in love. That said, I can identify closely with the young man who wrote in. My wife has an Uncle who is a retired pastor of a charismatic church. Now I grew up in a pentecostal church. Then as a young man I started attending a Baptist church. About 10 years ago I became really engaged with reformed theology with R.C. Sproul, John McArthur, Paul Washer, Vodie Bauchum, you, and others, as well as heros of the faith like Whitfield, Jones, Luther, and so on. But about two years ago it really started to bother me how little reformed theology deals with the spiritual realm, and how much scripture talks about it. I can in no way do the topic justice in this comment section, but I believe there is so much more to be understood when scripture talks about life and death being in the power of the tongue. While I do think that some charismatic groups take it too far, there is much to be said about what can be spoken to being(such as curses and blessings) as well as spiritual warfare and miracles and words of knowledge as well as praying privately in an unknown tongue (that is something that one's mind doesn't understand but is still edifying). This is completely scriptural and must be taught, but are seldom talked about, and certaintly not with the same intensity as other parts of scripture. Why if it is to build us up do you think that is? I have contended much with my spouse on this, but the more I pray on this the more peace I have. Why? I have been in such deep emotional prayer and only been able to say the name of Jesus over and over, and yet I know my spirit was saying so much more. Why would Paul say my mind is unfruitful in prayer? Could it be that there is a prayer language or method that is given that allows our spirit to pray directly to God, that bypasses our limited deliberate thinking? I have queried so much. Thank you in advance!

God created marrige and is a covenant between HIM, the husband and wife and must be taken very seriously. The State "requires" licenses (which are all frauds) for marriages which are perpetuated under Maritime law so they can dicatate property distribution when "divorce" does occur.

Its good to know and understand Bible, and some things you dont, then ask.Seek the Lord. But a word of common sense: If you ask a child something you talked about for an hour, you lost him /her probably at min 3.In a coma at min10.I do not try to be funny.I just know it,because growing up in house of teachers, and many friends of my parents were teachers. In high school(12years to approx 18), 40 min was longest period.I have heard of experiments where 30 min was absolute max that were allowed. And productivity did improve. Many youtube videos regarding Bible, and longer 10 min,i pass by.Sometimes very good preachers. But nearly always explains something hour long, could be done in five minutes. From most technical topics existing to mankind, few need more than five minutes to explain basics.IF there is willingness and self taught basics and or talent of concept

To be honest, one has to understand the kids also, hearing Mr Washer explain the doctrine of justification for an hour with a sad tired countenance, a broken voice and a body language which signals deep depression, well, he doesn't really excude a spirit of optimism. This is more about self-discovery than disobiedience on behalf of the listener. It is just the way people react. Maybe Mr Washer has exceeding gladness on the inside but he's not exactly selling it to the rest of us, the guy looks utterly miserable. Are we deluded that we don't think the preacher's attitude and demeanor matters? He says the words 'That's wonderful' like he's about to have a nervous breakdown. Repentance is not about being miserable. This guy has some real issues (just like the rest of us), this man is not healthy emotionally - clearly he needs some help.

Men like this set a dangerous president for young men in adolescents. He is so pathetic and weak, incredibly unmasculine and cannot control his emotions. Not too mention the fact Jesus Christian does absolutely fuck all in the lives of the majority of both believers and unbelievers. The god you worship watched me get abused for years and did nothing to prevent it. I hope earnestly that I have the strength of character required to end my life because there is no hope in Christianity there never will be smh

Wow what group is this that believes sex = marriage? I am meeting more and more Christian people that are saying this and therefore omitting the ceremony from their decision to be married based on their sexual bond. I see it as a sloppy commitment that is easily entered so that it may be easily broken when it no longer serves them.

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. Psalms 139:2-4 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, O Lord, You know it all. God knows your Heart family ❤️ KJV Revelation 3:3 ✨ Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. ❤️ NOW TODAY, PRAISE AND WORSHIP YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN AND THANK HIM FOR FORGIVENESS...NEW EVERY MORNING 🌄🙏🏽 we all fall short! ‭James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Don't you know Jesus loves you UNCONDITIONALLY ✝️

This comment is why James said not many should be teachers. Learn context, or humbly stop speaking. That entire passage is about willful apostasy from Christ. Yes, if you deliberately reject Christ after being enlightened, rather than ignorant, you will not enter Heaven. If someone tries to say this is about every sin ever in the Christian life, then no one can enter into Heaven, nor did Jesus save even one person through his death. Read the book of John. If you say you have no sin, you are a liar and the truth is not in you. Preaching perfection is a horrid, Abominable evil from the depths of hell. In fact, those who think they are perfect don't know the first thing about God, salvation, the word, or their own heart. They are still pharisees and on the broad path to destruction. People have killed themselves over this sort of evil preaching and JI Packer put a gun in his mouth over it, and then he read Romans 7. I lovingly suggest you do the same because Paul couldn't have been anymore explicit about the struggle Christians face in that chapter. " 18 For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. 21 So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. 22 For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, 23 but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. 24 Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin."

The context of Hebrews 10 is specifically about apostasy. Read the book of John, no Christian is perfect or without sin. Romans 7: 9 For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing.

I didn’t hear the gospel message. But, the gospel message is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. It is that Jesus Christ is the everlasting Son of God, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. It’s that simple.
