I've got a different question. Can you get bamboo to grow roots from clippings. There's a house near me that has this 60 ft tall bamboo growing down his property line. I want to do the same thing. I've knocked on his door to ask him what type it is but he never answers, so I was thinking I'd just clip some of the smaller ones and try to root it.
@naturallife_SR716 күн бұрын
Great question! Yes, bamboo can often grow roots from clippings, but it depends on the type. For running bamboo, you’d need rhizome cuttings (underground stems) to propagate successfully. For clumping bamboo, using culm cuttings (stems) can work, but make sure to cut just below a node and keep it moist. Best of luck creating your bamboo grove!"
