just make sure if you're using a coco brick make sure you go through the rinsing process or the finer particles of pete will water log your roots. tons of great vids on this but its not widely known outside the cannabis grower community

I went through my first summer with almost 30 plants and that was really overwhelming. Suddenly everyone wanted to be repotted and fertilised all the time 😵💫 I’ve been using Planta and I love that app but what really helped me was to change my schedules. The app is usually pretty accurate but moving things for 1-2 days doesn’t hurt so now I have different groups for the frequencies. Getting there takes a few weeks but now I’m much more calm. Also I realised that I was propagating way too much. I cherished every little leaf my plants made and didn’t want to lose the ones that needed to be pruned. I decided that it’s okay to get rid of them. So now I almost have my plants in order again. There are a few that I didn’t count that will be going to friends’ places. Those stress me too. But soooon I’ll be in control again. I also decided that they won’t die if I deprive them of fertiliser for a few weeks. I’m still glad that it’s late fall now and everything is slowing down.

Thank you. I will be taking care of a friend's plants while he's away, and one of them is a coffee plant, so this is really helpful.

So good to see you back!!! Just watched your newer plant tour and then this one. Would be so much fun working in a garden centre ♥️ I'm still very much into my houseplants but definitely don't buy much anymore with my existing ones getting bigger. Take care and so nice to see you back 🥰

Thank you, this was SOOOhelpful. I have a large variety as I propagated from sister. Now I realize maybe too many...a little dry on edges but started a pan of rocks and water...so hoping that helps

I have a new hack use soil from out side you don't need the worms mix with perlite and coca core I woud say 70 percent coca core 25 percent soil 5 percent perlite.
@zerrickdracing6784Ай бұрын
Reason for this is the clay that is in soil from out side creates little balls in the coca core for aeration of the soil helping the plants keep it's roots in good condition and easy repotting because the clay crumbles when dry also helping the plant with organic things from the outside world 🌎

My small spiderplant gave babies after a month of direct extreme sublight for very long days (had no other plays and didnt know anything about the plant at that point). Who knows why 😅

What's the best soil for Rattlesnake plant

Thanks for this video! I’m trying to figure out how deep the begonia is supposed to be planted. Like should the base be fully under the soil? Or the top even with the surface? Another way? I got one that has dirt pretty high in the container and looks like it was dumped. There are unfortunately roots EVERYWHERE and the soil is really soggy. I tried to break it up a little just to get some perlite in there, but got nervous. Definitely seems like it was sitting in water at the store. Squeezing the pot makes it drip. The last video I opened before this, the lady pulled them out of their containers, ripped the bottom half off and, swished a hole up the middle under the plant, and potted them together in a big pot with way too much soil. I gasped a little. The whole video was rough. Seemed like she just has them as seasonal decoration. Treating them like that, they prob are! Anyways, I’ll keep looking. There are like 7 little fuzzy nubs poking up through the dirt. It’s so soggy I wanted to check for soggy/rotting roots, but I’m not sure how, with spiderweb-like roots. They snap so easily. This is my first begonia. I’ve seen many other creators talk about them, but it was 2$ at Walmart so I figured it’d give it a shot! It has 3 leaves. One has a crispy section between a bifurcated center vein. Def seems like it grew that way, not damaged after. Kinda odd. The other 2 look healthy tho. Thanks for all the info!

as for the timing, my personal opinion and take is that for most people who rely heavily on natural light from outside the window would need to wait until early spring, cause these plants usually do have a very visible growth-dormancy cycle. For some people who provide growth light and maintain temperature, i think its not that necessary cause the conditions are relatively stable throughout the year.

I think my rattlesnake plant has completely died from overwatering once by mistake. No leaves on top, last leaf dying. I checked the roots but no root rot. Is there a way to revive this or should I give up? If I water less and wait will it get new leaves over time?
