The "beach" is still there, just looks different until the ocean spawns in. The gold chest for the beach was moved a few hundred yards away to a new location in the new cascades biome (between the beach and crater) Good luck searching - there are some new surprises in the cascades.

I really think you would be better off with a recurve bow. I can get three arrows into them before they reach me and they drop at my feet. I do use poisoned arrows though. When I did this quest I had to kill 7 Wicent to get the three skulls, I can relate to your frustration!🤷‍♀️

Hey so about 10-15 min got cut off the end of it (thanks DaVinci) no clue how that happened but I had cleared my external HDD of all the completed videos' raw footage so I couldn't re-render and re-upload. All that got cut was I finished convincing the 3 people to vote. I got the old timer to talk to the little kid that wants to fish. Then I put up a bunch of limestone. Dude, cherry juice will give you nearly unlimited stamina and cherry pie gives you extra health. They last nearly the whole day. Just consume those before you go hunting.

Decorate houses, place barrels, etc. All that helps get you to the mine.

TIP : When you have wiscent that close, build a fence square. use the q key, build the basic one. 2 fences on each side of the square shape. annoy one of the Wiscent and they charge the fence, you hit them and live. Over time they die. I love your videos!!!

Flares are helpful in the procedural wrecks, but you could also make the small signs as markers with labels, or just leave iron or other items on the ground like breadcrumbs, but those could block the walkway and flares are visible a lot farther away. You can also change the color of the flare, like red for dead end, white for exit, green for unexplored, and so on.

The best way to get butterflys at the 3rd story line area is to go up as high as you can and then build a platform.. they will spawn on the platform and be easy to spot
