Yes! The Bible's stories of women do not actually encourage women to be simpering, shallow, subservient people who melt into cultural backgrounds. God does not devalue women, the Word does not devalue women, we cannot expect to devalue women and get away with it.

I listened to a podcast this week by a Christian philosopher. He says there are two types of atheists. One group simply don't believe there's a God based on logical, material reasons: can't see Him, can't prove He exists. The second group concedes the possibility of God but doesn't want to believe because "I don't want a God like the Biblical God." In essence, they don't want a God who reads their mail, as it were.

I am posting this per Pastors Brad and Meghann Easley’s request. This is what I heard during the service. Message to King’s Church and those who hear the service/recording on-line Sunday, July 25, 2021 My children, do not be afraid. Stop listening to all the fear mongering of the enemy’s lies. When he says, “Better safe than sorry,” realize that the truth is: “Have faith. Take the risk of trusting Me. And don’t be sorry. Follow Me. As you follow Me in total trust and faith, then you will be safe in My will - the safest place you can be.” So have “Better FAITH, not sorry!” And for some of you that is going to include doing some things way outside your comfort zone. Some of you need to choose Me over another lover. Some of you need to have some very difficult, risky and challenging conversations. Some of you need to lay down your dreams and desires to find the dreams that I have for you, that will be so much greater than you planned or could even imagine. So, My child, ask Me what I think of you. Ask Me what I want to do in and through you. I will answer your heart’s cry when you come to Me and ask. Ask. I will answer. Seek. You will find. Knock at the door I show you. And I will open it. And on the other side will be more of what I have for you. There is so much more, My child. There is so much more. Do not be afraid. Step out. Ask. Seek. Knock. “Better faith - never sorry!”

Man this guy brought it! He’s speaking very specifically a d truthfully about politics. The idea of voting is so silly anyways. You have two, maybe three choices, no candidate ever does what they say they will, and your vote counts for 1 out of a hundred million (I know I know it’s not literally a popular vote, but still). We can change the world so much more by bringing individuals to Jesus rather than getting one individual in charge. No King But Christ!
