What type of food do you feed him/ which brand? :)

Jack usually has royal cannin ragdoll/ Maine coon dry food and once a week some cheap tin of wet cat food. The ragdoll is fed similar but ragdoll royal cannin but he usually nicks jack food and vie a vie. Treats are dreams any flavour ( not cheese), and the occasional bird or mouse when he can get his claws and teeth into one.

You can see him grow in many of our travels through Europe. He's also now got a new mate after losing one of our other ragdolls earlier this yr. Wend yer way.

My goodness, I cannot believe you drove your motorhome in Sicily. I was in that exact area of Sicily in October and hired a tiny little Panda. I got lost frequently and ended up in tiny,narrow twisty roads. I kept saying to my 'husband 'can you imagine driving the van here'. However I did see a van parked right next to the beach in Balestrate which looked idyllic.

We are used to small rds, so not so much a problem. However we did have to turn around in southern Italy. A Class are good in one way. If your mirrors fit you know the rest will fit through. We liked Sicily, but to much rubbish everwhere, doubt we would go back other than to go on the ferry to Malta. Hope you enjoy our vids.

Happy new van and apologies that others who bought from the other Newark dealership had taken over the cafe for Christmas lunches. One of our perks for having bought their. Looking forward to seeing progress with the new van. What length is it?

Hi thanks, yes pity the other dealership had done that, food did look good. Never mind we had a good free lunch in their carpark. Luckily I did not see a van better ( imo) than what we purchased. The van is just over 7m, 2.35 wide and 3.1 m high + aerial. We have a van (tour) out on Sunday. Less serious than what others do.

It must be so frustrating getting that water coming in. You’d have expected better from Burstner. Exciting that you’re getting a new van though. Is it like for like or what have you decided you want to be different?

Hi it took 3 yrs to sort the leaks. But got there in the end and yes decided while the going was good to sell. I will be putting a vid up with the new van, when I have got rid of the migraine ( get them while on the computer). It's a frankia i680. Similar but different.

Another really interesting video. I’m marking some of your stops on my google maps. Do you reckon not being Lhd makes passing on the narrow roads trickier?

It's not just narrow RDS, but junctions and going down the correct lane, roundabouts etc. it's strange at 1st, take you time, concentrate after a few days it is fine. Remember you will be in a van so will have a better view over cars in front of you and can see further ahead over cars helps anticipate what's coming up. Just know your width on narrow RDS, take your time and let them squeeze past if you are unsure.

They are and it's free, but they are in a fairly precarious way as they are slowly collapsing. We went there partly for the rock formations a little further down the rd, but was to be honest disappointed with them. We are currently in the appalations on the blue ridge parkway making or way to Washington and then new York, might have a video out sometime showing this trip. Hope your well phil

Another great video folks. Portugal looks surprisingly green, albeit it will have been early in the year. How do you get on with getting in and out of the pull down bed? Your layout looks great apart from me having misgivings about dealing with a ladder in the night😊

Hiya, Glad you like the vids. The drop down bed is not perfect. If you get a bit claustrophobic its not good. The ladder is not the best, as it slips a bit, but with some tweeting it could be made more secure. Getting in is easier than getting out for me, but it is comfortable and we like it as it gives us more room in the van if one of us does not want to go to bed early or gets up early. I would not get an electric operated one as if it gets stuck down you are knackered for driving.

Hi good to hear from you. Sorry to hear about the van issues. We have alo had van issues and had to put Micky out ragdoll to sleep. Our brakes started to fail in central France so had to wait 10 days to get them fixed. So what to do in that time. Well we started looking for houses to buy in France. Any how it's the ferry tomorrow. Good to hear from you. Phil and Janette

Thanks it's a big wrench, but he had a good long life and Janette was with him when the vet put him to sleep. He just laid his head down on Janette's hand and that was it. See you in a few weeks hopefully at the rally

We came by Steve a Maine Coon by accident, in his ten Years he grew to 27lbs, lovely red/white with an attitude to go. We lost him to cancer September, much missed.

We had a Maine coon and an Irish setter (the setter, Sunday, was a beautiful dog and had a great personality). And I was born and raised in Gorham, Maine!
