Really loving these late 80’s games. Growing up as a kid I wasn’t allowed to watch much footy until I got a little older lol

Stevie Mortimer and Jonathan Docking. Two great role models to survive in the big boys game, and even beat them at it.

Wally Lewis completely confused and bamboozled by the Ref's penalty against his team. So funny! He was such a great character. Ahhh miss the old days.

When league was skilful, love watching the old games. When a good tackle is now penalised after 50 camera angles.

On November 22nd 2008, a young kid named Cody Higginson a very talented young league player from Northland NZ, was at his sister's birthday, but a few days before Benji Marshall called him to give it another crack at the West Tigers! Cody missed the first cut and was excited that someone like Benji would give him a second chance? On the day of the Rugby League World Cup, tragedy unfortunately struck Cody, as he fell off his skateboard up in Whangarei NZ and hit his head on the concrete curve. He was rushed to the hospital that same day and when Kiwis beat Australia 34 to 20! After the game had ended, Cody's family decided it was best to take him off life support and he died at the age of 19 years old, Rest In Peace Cody Higginson August 21st 1989 to November 22nd 2008.

The Melbourne storm yellow away kit was more akin to the Adelaide rams in 1998

Hmm pathetic crowd. Shabby ground. Low skill standard. So much for this " long historical dominance of league" that League fans tell me about...

Now can you guys do the same with Cowboys and warriors games but post every single one between 2000 to 2003? Or at least round 11 from 2000 and round 17 2003. I know you guys should have the 2000 game in your archives because I saw a highlight from that game on fletch and Hindy showing the send off high shot from lautiti. So surely you must have the whole game!!!
@Sportsmusicgod8 күн бұрын
I think they have all the games
@sebastianpaezortiz59218 күн бұрын
@ yeah but not all games would be digitized and ready to upload. I overheard they were in the process of digitizing pretty much all their back catalogue from tapes. God knows how long that would take
