You should see Charlie Kirk's video. Definitely contributes to this topic quite nicely.

How is this a "huge win" for America? This is just the country careening into a theocracy like Iran. Would you be cool with it if Islamic text was on the walls or if Commandments of the Lord in the Bhagavad Gita were mandatorily placed on walls or the Seven Fundamental Tenets of Satanism? Imagine being a Hindu kid going to school and in every class having something on the wall saying in its first rule that you are morally wrong for having your own religion. Nobody is stopping you from teaching your own kids the commandments or the Bible, there's no reason to legislatively force it on everyone else. Enough with the Christo-fascism. The fist Amendment says "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion", so maybe let's stick to that.

Hello. I would have replied sooner but for some reason, KZbin tells me I have three comments but only shows two on the video page. It wasn't until after I looked at the creator studio that it showed me what comment I got. I thank you for your comment and concerns, though I respectfully disagree. Sticking to the first amendment as you recommend, you have to look at the historical context of America's upbringing, which really begins with what was happening over in Europe. As far as Europe was concerned, the universal religion that everyone practiced was Christianity, albeit different denominations. The problem was that different countries started placing government over the Bible's authority and persecuting those who were of different denominations. So when you had the pilgrims flee to America, they wanted to make sure they did not become like Europe, and so we created the first limitation of government listed in the first amendment as you rightly quoted. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." Given historical context, "establishment of religion" does not mean different religions altogether, but rather it means denomination of Christianity. Also as a side note, this law is not a violation of the first amendment. Congress did not pass this law, Louisiana did, and we are not prohibiting students from exercising different religions just because the 10 Commandments are on the wall. If I went to a school that taught satanism, then I wouldn't go to that school. Simple. Even if congress did pass that law, it still wouldn't be unconstitutional because our constitution itself is chalk full of Biblical principles and tells us how to run our nation based on instructions found in the Bible. Are people really going to say that our constitution is unconstitutional just because of religion? There is no denying that America has been the most prosperous, successful, and wealthiest nation in the history of the world, and there is a reason for that. That reason is because we were founded on the Bible (just look at the painting in the rotunda of the U.S. capitol of the embarkation of the pilgrims praying to God while holding a Geneva Bible as an example). Christianity is the one true religion, and is the only religion in the entire world that gives individuals freedom and liberty, and is the only religion that teaches us to love our enemies. Given America was founded on the Bible, it makes sense that we have liberties, but given that in today's America, people are trying to remove the Bible, then you remove the source of all individual liberties, and you start having problems, which is exactly what is happening in America. When you don't acknowledge that there is a God, and government becomes secular, then it becomes impossible to have limited government, even more so a government that cares for and protects individuals and their liberties. It would do America well to return to the Bible. Have you heard the Gospel? Let me share it with you! THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION: Will you go to Heaven when you die? Have you lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain, or lusted (which Jesus said was adultery, Mt. 5:28)? If so, God sees you as a liar, thief, blasphemer, and adulterer at heart. If you die in your sins, you will end up in a terrible place called Hell. But there’s good news. Though we broke God’s Law, Jesus paid the fine by dying on the cross: “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (Jn. 3:16). Then Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds (it’s no fairy tale). He fulfilled all the prophecies of the promised Savior. Please, today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will forgive you and grant you the gift of eternal life (Eph. 2:8,9). Then, to show your gratitude, read the Bible daily and obey it, join a Christian church, and be baptized.
