Well here we are again. It's end April 2024. Needing to hear this (now) old standard - Imagine- played by the guy who does it up waaay finer than anyone else has ever. I keep trying to copy this version but sadly I can't, I never will. I wasn't blessed with the "technology". I hope you're having a good life Trey, I guess you'll have a family of your own by now. I hope at least one of your kids got the music to the extent that you did. I'll give this another listen now and check in again in a year or two if I'm still here. I've grown old but I'm still fumbling with guitars, wishing I could just get better at it.

recently my grandmother passed away she always really liked guitar players with long stringy hair which explains why she died of aids, everytime i hear this some it reminds me of her. thank you

I remember watching your videos as a teenager ! You could rip through 17th century chicken picking, I think it was. The early KZbin guitar hero ! Good times.

I was so hugely impressed by those videos you made when you were kid. I go there time to time still. It's your very distinctive style. Your playing is distinguishable among the many. I often wonder what you did with life and did it include music and to what extent. Career or just personal enjoyment. Truly, of all the "monster" guitarists, it's Merrill that I wish I could COPY. But I can't.
