They did buff the Patriot too, but it got different buffs iirc.

"1 nest" is super reductive, though. That was the biggest nest the game has to offer, plus multiple bug breaches, including chargers, bile titan and impalers, which it all took out easily in addition to the chaff. The mech is good.

Took out the biggest nest and a bug breach in 2 minutes and dind't come close to dying while standing right next to the bug breach, also did this in end game after completing all the objectives which is when the most amount of emenies will spawn, every objective completed the emeny spawns become more agressive. So i woulnd't call it pointless

Nah that would take away from them The whole point is to be able to call down a mech to shred for a few mins before running out of ammo If the ammo was infinite not only would it trivialise every fight but also would make every other stratagem obsolete

@@Tainted_Delusionfrom a gameplay mechanic sure. From a logic one it makes no senses it uses the same rounds as an AC that you carry. Realistically should refill using the same ammo.

they added stagger to the minigun and i think they improved rocket damage

They did buff the patriot exosuit's rockets and gatling minigun

and increased damage and fire rate

Yea and the damage buff helps with the ammo economy as well since bile titans and chargers aren't bullet sponges against the mech anymore

Not just the buff to the exo itself, but enemy armor nerf as well. The Autocannons are effective against so many more enemies now!

I use the Exo regularly and even pre-patch it was already good, so not sure why you'd call it "underperforming"? Its biggest weakness was Bot turrets/tanks and up-armoured chargers, but neither were hard to beat they just soaked up ammo.

True lol, ive never this much variety of stratagems and weapons since this new update and i have been playing since release

​​@@benbevan1442 I understand your point a bit, It wasn't underperforming on paper, but for a 10-12 minute cooldown and only 2 uses you should feel like a god while using it, which it didn't feel like before. now it feels worth being down a slot most of the time because you get 2-4 minutes of wrecking house for key moments in a mission, twice per mission. Surely if you use it often you can feel how much more fun the mechs, particularly the emancipator, feel to use.

not the jetpack trooper, but they're uparmored. if you hit them from an angle, your rounds will bounce, direct hits still act as normal though.
