Crazy, I used to do similar things with faces, expressions, etc back in the 90s. I think subconsciously we like letters where the lines simulate facial expressions, body language, etc. A lot of times, it was like I was laughing for getting away with something and I liked the way it lookd

"..and with that I could eventually change the expressions of whatever character I do, whichever way it looks, if it's- reflecting a certain way I'm feeling at the time or whatever" *cuts to Pemex painting a sad throwie* I felt that.

Hey there, i need your help to find a specific graff video. i try to find a graff documentary that i have watched about 2 yrs ago. there are only a few things that i remember. i will just tell you all i know and hope that somebody knows the video and can tell me what the title is because it srsly drives me crazy. in the beginning of the video there is somebody giving a spoken introduction to the video and he says something like "after frostbitten fingers and the death of a brother...." . i am pretty sure that the graff artist died. he was painting lots of giant characters (i think just outlines), lots of them on trucks. in the end of the video his face was exposed in scenes where you could see him writing. he was not only painting graffiti but also non graffiti paintings on canvas. i think at some point there was an art exhibition in the video. and there is this iconic scene in the video where he destroys one of his own canvases by painting over it ( i think it was because his friend died). that really is not much information but its all that i remember. i am looking for this video for ages and just had the idea to ask people on youtube. thanks in advance for anyone who can help me

I think that in some individuals there resides burning impulse to affirm one's individuality, which is otherwise suppressed by heavily prescriptive social mores, rules and regulations. Graffiti is one means of doing that.
