It's weird, i can't get the front wheel up on a bike at all. Sure i can pull up a bit and i tried the manual according to some web guides but wheelies and manuals just don't seem to work. Funny enough i am able the do them on my motorcycle with ease, even staying in the balance point and decelerating/steering a bit. Any suggestions what to try to make it work on the bike? (I'm currently riding a Conway Xyron S 3.9)

different tips make it click for everyone, for me it was using my feet instead of my arms, press down hard then push bike forward, lean shoulders back not crunched.

Im abit late to the party but im a complete beginner and live 20 mins from this what would you say is the easiest one to start on?
@JayHurstMtb
@JayHurstMtb 5 күн бұрын
This would be an awesome place to start! It’s actually really good for beginners because they have a blue option to start but also a red as you get more experienced. Lots of practice sections near the start too for learning some skills. But all the trails have avoidable features so absolutly try it out! 🤘🏻
@JayHurstMtb
@JayHurstMtb 5 күн бұрын
Sorry for a bit of waffle there’s to simplify. Start practicing on the skills area near the start, then try the blue loop, and eventually progress to red loop

Hey bro, really good job with the video. I have the same camera, and im looking to buy a chest mount, what chest mount are you using? Thanks! Btwa Dji is selling their own chest mount, but it looks like the camera will be mounted pretty far down, which I don’t think is the best for mtb povs.
@JayHurstMtb
@JayHurstMtb 9 күн бұрын
Thanks so much! I use the stuntman chesty, find it really good. I would say however, the DJI one is cool too as it has an option to mount the camera on the back and film someone else behind you

Quiet hub. I like a silent bike. Also the hub might not sound loud to you because it’s behind you but for anyone riding beside or behind you, it’s obnoxious AF. My GF has a super loud hub and I hate riding behind her because of it.

I started a war in the comments section of another video by saying that mastering your front brake is one of the keys to becoming a good mountain biker. The rear is important too but most of your stopping power comes from the front and I'd 100% rather ride a trail with no rear brake vs no front. Also three finger braking is pretty much a necessity for the poor souls out there still running cantilever rim breaks but those are pretty rare to see on the trails these days.
