I've always loved this song but have never had any idea what any of the words are! It amazes me that so many others do. I saw another video with a huge crowd at one of their concerts singing the whole thing--loud and synchronized. What's the deal about this song? It's catchy, for sure............but what is it about the lyrics (which I have never figured out) that makes so many people want to sing it?

@@theEWDSDS Prior to this I have only seen and heard the Killers sing it. It's actually on my go-to favorites list and I've listed to it dozens of times. I love the music but like much of the music I love, the lyrics come after the melody, the rhythm and the music. Thanks for responding, though, I'm going to go look up the lyrics right now!

Just read the lyrics. They're understandable enough--maybe even relatable to some people--but I still don't get why so many people are motivated to sing this song together. I could understand singing a Killers song in unison if it was "Human." But this one? Not so much.

That’s a very flat designed stadium. There’s no angling steepness in that stadium. So only the first 30 rows of seats have good viewing. Everyone else is so far back.

yes, because it's a hundred year old stadium that is also the largest stadium in the western hemisphere and up until recently (not counting the random one in north Korea) was the largest stadium in the world

As a die hard USC fan this gave me chills. 110K+ singing Mr Brightside at the big house is truly an amazing scene. Considering we came there a few weeks ago and came up short but in a thriller. Nothing but respect✊✊✊
