Thank you James!! Good question 😁We were going to put drainage grooves in the worktop but instead we have a free standing dish drainer wrack. Most of the time though they go straight in the dishwasher in the utility!

That’s great to hear thanks you! I (John) am a gardener/landscape gardener so quite practical but we are both not afraid to have a go. Like plastering and sorting out our bouncy floors was all a first time for us. We are fortunate also that Molly’s step dad has a lot of experience so anything we were unsure of we asked him and also looked on KZbin! Good luck with your renovation, is it a big project?

@@the_jolly_renosounds like you have that can do attitude which goes along way 👍 it's a 3 bed bungalow, it's not been touched in about 25 years so pretty dated. Got plans to knock a couple of walls out to make a kitchen/diner like you have.

So many, including a huge patio from the French doors, separate seating areas for catching the sun at different times of day and a jungle vibe similar to the one of our old house!

Great work what flooring did you use do you have any recommendations?

Thank you! It was 30mm Sprung gym floor tiles from Sprung flooring. You can go thicker if you are a serious lifter but this thickness allows heavy drops. The weight of the tiles alone keep them in place so no glueing and we can’t recommend them enough as they make it feel so much like a professional gym!
