Who are the crests on this song?
@RockFur219 күн бұрын
It's from 1964 with, we believe, Tommy Mara on lead with the three originals, Chuck Foote, Dennis Alston Ray, J T Carter as Johnny Maestro had gone solo by then.

“Colpo di fulmine. The thunderbolt, as Italians call it. When love strikes someone like lightning, so powerful and intense it can’t be denied. It’s beautiful and messy, cracking a chest open and spilling their soul out for the world to see. It turns a person inside out, and there’s no going back from it. Once the thunderbolt hits, your life is irrevocably changed.” - J.M. Darhower, Sempre

I met her when I was thirteen and she must have been seventeen. I was in my mate's flat and looking at a picture of her and then she walked in with his older brother. She lived round the corner in one of the Kings Cross area hotels or as she joked once on telly one the "brotels"

this was our song, it is the song i walked down the aisle to, when I married my highschool sweet heart in september 2022. We only got to have one anniversary. He passed July 3 and this is the first time I've been able to listen to it. This hurts something fierce but if you are going to be able to manage grief, you've got to confront it head on. Maybe that will help someone out there.

Sitting at the dinner table lining up my little soldiers ( airfix ) . Hearing songs like this . Big John , 3 wheels on my wagon , mouse on the stairs , There i was digging this hole , the list is endless. I would have been 8 years old and it was all to come . Well it came and all flew by too quickly. Thank God we've got KZbin to look back at our childhoods.

Reports of Mike's death have been greatly exaggerated. At the time of my writing, he's still very much with us, now in his mid 80s.
