It looks like SNES couldnt get the sprites big enough for Earthquake, so they shrunk the other characters down to compensate.

Neither could the Genesis and Sega CD, except they went in the opposite direction. Get rid of Earthquake, have everyone else. One dev group find it unacceptable to get rid of him, the other one wanted to flex at the expense of a character and in the case of Genesis, entire animations and attacks.

Ai o Saturn, ele só leva vantagem só usando o cartucho de ram mesmo porque não tô vendo nenhuma diferença do ps1 para o saturn, as duas versões faltam animação se comparado ao arcade, o Saturn só ficava igual ao arcade usando algum artifício mesmo como um cartucho de ram e mesmo assim ainda perdendo algumas animações traduzindo o Saturn só levou vantagem no ps1 porque usava cartucho de ram se não usasse os jogos de arcade seria iguais os de ps1 no 2d.

Well, it’s still leagues better than its port of Samurai Shodown 3. That game is actually worse than the port of X-Men Vs. Street Fighter for performance, as it’s under constant performance pressure the moment a round starts all the way to the end.

The winner is....the hacked rom on the internet, which has the uncensored content and the original soundtrack. The definitive edition, in my opinion.

Eu nem sabia que esse jogo tinha pra Saturno, sempre achei zoado o Ps1 mesclar os personagens 2D com o Cenário 3D, acho feio demais. Agora o do Saturno bem mais melhor

This game plays really well on the SNES. Also, if you have a Retrotink5k, you can set the aspect ratio to match the NEOGEO as it is one of the options. Probably the closest you're getting it to look like the NeoGeo version.

Say what you want about Kenji Yamamoto, but he nailed the soundtrack of the Butoden games. The replacement music is just not as good as the original music. Especially Gohan and Vegeta's themes from Butoden 2.

Don't say you've never played Metal Slug 7 if you play double x. It's the same exact game that's just like saying you never play Metal Slug 2 but you play Metal Slug X same thing but it's just the remodel

the ps1 version has the pixels not lining up properly, limited animations, indicates it is a port instead of original neo geo emulation, unlike the others

The song for the mansion first floor (before guard house) is easily the best piece of music in the Dual Shock version but it should of been used for the remake.

I feel like the music in the dualshock version was trying to be tense and intimidating, but ended up being a weird amalgamation of a concert pianist and someone with cerebral palsy doing a duet with the Jackson Five at a Halloween themed amusement park in April.
