Why in the hell would this company not have a front mount for a bipod? I always say that you need to get a hunter to design stuff instead of guys who probably don’t even shoot.. nice gun but big fail on the bipod …
@SpudOutdoors13 күн бұрын
Now if we can get new design in shape and ergo. A true negative comb where heel is above center line for better recoil control. Compete with better designs. FFT is awesome and needs to be explored. Nothing comes close.

We were the guys on horseback, that was an absolute brutal week of elk hunting. I was pregnant with our son, and my husband and I managed to get two bulls. But boy did we have to work for it.

Looking to order the 20" barrel 6.5 PRC. My only concern is "from some YT reviews" that when ejecting the shell casing they end up hitting the scope windage adjustment knob. If I am going to spend that kind of money on a center fire rifle it pretty much needs to be flawless, especially when it comes to the rifle ejecting the spent casing.
@ChristensenArms2 ай бұрын
@@jfphotography69 Ejection issues, particularly with cases hitting the optic, do indeed stem from two major factors: the increase in optic tube and turret sizes, and the now-outdated belief that the scope must be mounted as low as possible. As the shooting industry has advanced, so have optics. Modern scopes often come with larger tubes and turrets, providing greater adjustment ranges and more precise dialing, but these larger components can interfere with brass ejection, particularly in larger calibers like magnum rifles. This interference is exacerbated by traditional low-scope setups, where cases may collide with windage turrets or optic bodies during ejection. Elevating the scope offers a practical solution to this problem, one that's been embraced by competitive shooters in PRS and ELR disciplines. By mounting optics slightly higher, shooters can maintain a more comfortable head position and improve their field of view, without sacrificing accuracy or performance. The belief that keeping the scope close to the barrel minimizes cant-induced shift has been repeatedly debunked, especially given modern advancements in ballistics software, reticles, and mounting systems. In fact, higher scope setups can enhance overall shooting ergonomics and solve the ejection problem entirely, particularly when paired with high-quality mounts that maintain solid alignment and ensure precision. Incorporating these new setups leads to more efficient and adaptable shooting platforms, capable of handling modern calibers and optics without the limitations of now-outdated mounting solutions. This shift allows shooters to focus on accuracy and precision and removes concerns around case ejections striking the optic.

I love what Montana and the Rockies can throw your way! OCT/NOV 2022 NW Montana we hiked in 7.5 miles with 80 lbs each for a 10 day backcountry hunt, went in at 42 degrees and woke up to 22” of snow and single digits. Lost the trail and switchbacks to drifts and decided we couldn’t pack game out if we harvested one, so bailed out and headed 3 hours south. It took all day to hike out by cutting trail in that deep snow, but felt amazing when we made it out and rested up. Ended up seeing four bulls and my friend was fortunate enough to take one of them at 165 yards. Great times!!!

I've had mine now for 4 months, went on one hunt with 0 luck. That's ok, guess there's always next year. I have taken it to the desert for practice, and I love this stock. The way it feels, how solid it is. It's beauty! One small gripe, the grip is very smooth, I haven't had it slip away yet, and my follow-ups are very consistent. I have several other stocks that I paid some $$$$ for, I just keep coming back to this!
