I started growing my hair at about the time you made this tutorial. It's to my mid back now and I needed this more than you can imagine.

Excellent tutorial. Had to slightly alter the process as I am black with locs but this still helped ALOT! Thank you .🙏🏾

Today, my boyfriend walked into our bed room excitedly hinting at his hair, he had his hair in a bun using a wooden coffee mixing stick, he did it so well I was so impressed, he was so proud. He later sent me this video, thank you!

Yeah I have been doing the twisty way around an elastic for years but it annoys me how loose it becomes after a couple hours at work. I love the actual hair sticks but they are always too short😅

I think the middle three are 80s and the first and last on each skate are 84s. The frames are Endless Arcs.

I just get it in a pony tail, spin the chopstick around until hair it tight, then pull it out almost all the way, pull it away from my hair like a lever, push it in half way, then push the chopstick down like a lever so the tip is pointing away and push it out (so you sorta push it in and out in a V shape). That does the trick for me. I've given this method a go and it really isn't working out. Tried it like 20 times and it doesn't work, even though I have fine, pin straight/grade 1 hair😖

A man with his hair tied up with a chopstick in a bun is SOOOOOO hot!
@fluffygoatzie3578 Жыл бұрын
I love that tutorial because it shows us how to make a bun without using elastic bands that can damage your hairs, aren't eco friendly and we tend to loose a shit ton of those on a monthly basis. 8/10. The issue is that it is unfortunately not super friendly for people with short and thick hairs. Featuring a link to an other tutorial for people with thicker hair would be interesting and be super great for anyone wanting to try out this hairstyle. Still, thanks, it's actually alot more comfortable than the ponytail.

There should be more hair options for people with thick hair.
@fluffygoatzie3578 Жыл бұрын
Don't worry, there's a way that should make it work. Either make 2 mini buns on each side of your head or attach only your top hairs and leave the bottom ones at your ears level untied. Hope this helps.

Thanks Paul, great demo! What was the pad sensitivity you used playing the first preset?
@paultstarr2 жыл бұрын
Hey! As far as I can remember I've never adjusted the pad sensitivity at all, so it should be however it comes right out of the box. I will say that my subjective experience is that it's an incredibly responsive-feeling instrument.
