Can you use aftermarket toner with black and white / color laser printers and with black and white if tonwe spills their won't be a problem because they don't have TB(transfer belts) like color Lazer printer that can break. How do you clean it up though?

Hi Elizabeth, HP printers can automatically update the firmware to where users are unable to use non-HP cartridges, such as those provided by the aftermarket. This video walks through how to disable automatic updates, which can prevent your printer from being updated without your knowledge. Hope this helps!

Please, I have a LaserJet M551 printer. I cleaned the inks and many things in the printer. I do not know his name. An air crystal is used inside the printer. Then a problem occurred. This may cause up to 4 white spots to appear on each leaf. Be it color or black and white. And the same spot in all the paper and the same white color. I don't know the cause of the problem. and how to solve it. please help.

Hi Memo Mody, There could be a number of reasons you are receiving this print error. If the repeating white dot is showing on prints no matter what is printed, then the defect has to be coming from the printer. At 4 dots per page, our experts suspect that it has something to do with the fuser. If the repeating white dot is showing only when a specific color (KCMY) is printed, then it is coming from the corresponding cartridge. At 4 dots per page, our experts think it could be related to the OPC drum inside the specific color cartridge that shows the defect. We hope this helps!
