Spain's songs was, IS the best in decades for the country and absolutely best from Eurovision 2024, why won Swiss? no one gets it. The vibes and the energy this song emanates gets to people even not knowing the language.

Norway is outstanding, the voice, the nature, the Northern lights which are the staple of Norway, the lyrics of their folk stories… something out of this world. The best presentation of Norway, the dances of the musicians and the voice of the performer, all together is an amazing concoction. Like I’ve been to Norway though I’ve never been there. The jury and the people were so unfair. Applause to Ukraine and Finland who supported an amazing performance!

Very hard to give a top 10 because there are so many great songs/performances. I can give my top 3: Ukraine, Italy, and Slovenia. The 2 biggest surprises for me were Norway finishing *last* place in the final, and Ireland getting that many votes by both the public and the jury

Yeah this year had many amazing acts and songs, it was very difficult to choose from. I would say I would’ve added even more songs in top 10🤣

Baby Lasagna is a great musician and young man. He’s signing about young Croatian people leaving their country which they love but because of luck of any future perspective they go abroad. This is what ones did.

When Angelina won Sanremo with that amazing performance I started to follow every reaction. 90% of people started asking for dancers 😅 Never mind, she's gorgeous and very young , I was worried she would have been another winner Italy would have say goodbye for Us public and tours like Maneskin did. Just today she released two songs ❤ sugar for my old 👂

Im gonna tell why, the song was not made to win. BUT there was a clear effort in making it entertaining. The choreography and timing, the nodds to the cliches of 90’s. Plus the song is catchy with sweet message. Paskana was my favorite too, and I was disappointed at first. But, what finns taught me is to not be blinded by favorites. Finns dont think about winning when they vote. They vote someone who gave the best performance and sparked feelings (happiness, sadness, humor). Thats the reason why the Finnish entries in eurovision always leave a mark. Because its geniune, unapologetic and chosen by the people. Thank you for coming to my Tedtalk.
