when a car doesn't make any engine noise this is how you compensate dear lord the acceleration is in another level

Anything under 4 makes me feel sick. Launched my MYP on a steep downhill road and felt like I was going to black out. Had to be low 3s. 2.1 must be insane!

Maybe I will get one in a few years. I test drove (it was really a joy ride 😂) one for about 30 minutes in an area with lots of open space. So much fun and I never got bored.

I recently took a ride on a MX P90D, and acceleration was just... crazy. Not a car, but a space ship. I can't even imagine how Plaid feels... (also my English probably sucks)

Hey what all have you done to the motor? I’m building a 73 350g and am curious what all I can port over to my own build.
@Mtrhd00242 жыл бұрын
If you're planning to race it, AHRMA changed the rules of the production class for this past year, and limited some of the things you could do to the motor. You'd need to look at the rulebook to see. But a must have for any performance 350 is a slider cam chain tensioner. The little rubber wheels in the OEM tensioner will come apart at prolonged high RPM operation. The hot setup now for production would be 1mm over pistons, and a CL350 cam/rocker setup. The CL350 'fat cam' had more lift than the CB which let's it breathe a little better and stay legal for the class. The motor in this bike is no longer legal for historic production. A sportsman 350 is a whole different beast. Many of them make more than double the hp of a stock 350. Bored out to 362cc, lightened cranks, crazy high lift cams and lots of other head work. There are guys racing with more than 10k invested in their motors.

I've been riding for years and owned many bikes. Found one of these cheap locally so decided to try it out. Needed a little to get running but had been well maintained by a machinist (2nd owner) before it sat out a season. I liked the handling and SSS (Single Sided Swingarm), alloy frame, etc., but I felt pretty cramped on it and it was soooo slow! It had a Fox shock, fork brace and handled great. Yes it was piped, too, and sounded nice, but even around town, it lacked power. Not all bikes have to be fast, but it's nothing like a 600 sportbike. I think being expensive but slow killed them off!
