Paulo Ramos knows that Hispanics don't hate white people the way blacks do. She is discussing Hispanics in the American imagination of what Mainstream America thinks that what the idea of what Latinos are SUPPOSED TO ACT. Forty percent of Hispanics identify as white. Another 52 identify as half white. Here is a bombshell Hispanics were counted as WHITE up until 1970. She is just now learning the reality of the racism they have against themselves. Can anyone tell me why no one in the history of this country never once complained that there only RICH BEAUTIFUL WHITE PEOPLE SPEAKING SPANISH on ALL the telenovelas on Telemundo, Univision, Galavision and Venevision and Oglobo???

In California, back in the 60s/70s And 80s… It was always clear the Latinos in California tended to be conservative and their voting. They were conservative Catholics. So I find it interesting to hear people saying that Latinos/Hispanics are Turning conservative this year. I don’t think so. I do have her think that those who have always been conservative and who tend to try to assimilate into this country by distancing themselves from immigrants who may be from Latin countries Turn conservative in order I think to save themselves from any discrimination, especially in places like Texas and Florida Listen, we have black Republicans, we have Muslim Republicans and we have Latino/Hispanic Republicans. How you support a Political party who is also said they would deport you back to your country of origin, Makes me shake my head.

This woman actually doesn't come close to being representative of latinos. She's the out of touch far left progressive liberal. That's a minority acting like the majority, and she's 😂 from whacky self destroying NYC.

Gracias Paula ....😊

As a republican, I can respect your sincerity. You seem to want to understand the other side. I can tell your nit a radical lefty. The Irush and Italians went through similar stages of assimilation. Dean Martin and Tony Bennet changed their names to not be sound to ethnic.

@tananario23 The Democrats are attempting to colonize us again. That's what colonizers do. They shove a new name like Latinx. They change the place in the history of a ppl and make you something you are not. The Blacks are running the most mean spirit campaign ever. Calling us and our relatives on the Rez, mutts, and 5$ Indians just really mean spirited. What do you expect. The Democrats are fine with it. If we say anything offensive, they go national, like they did in California. Ruined a lot of careers and publicly shamed the Latino members on the City Council to get their way with their double standards of representation. They got a whole party behind the anti Latino by the Blacks. It's really pathetic.

Can anyone present a single figure similar to MLK, Gandhi, or Mandela among the Palestinian people? The Palestinian approach to self-determination is driven in part by violence and revenge. That is why they are suffering!

What a great interview! I have heard Paola Ramos a few times on MSNBC so thought I'd see if there was anything more on YT ... jackpot! My mind and heart tell me Latinos are going to be hurt and left out again if Trump is elected and that thought is makes me feel a bit ill. I have so many thoughts and not enough space to write them all. Thank you.

I’m so happy that I found this. I was just diagnosed with Bipolar 2 at 38. But ever since about the age of 18 or 19, I knew something was wrong. I had been to soooo many doctors before then, and was told I was just going through the motions of life. I was told I was a strong black woman and that I would get through it. But in reality I was afraid. The recent events in my life over the last years, has only intensified my Bipolar 2. Being a mother of 3 teens, I am afraid of what I have passed down to my kids.

Wow...this got me to think a bit harder...God definitely placed this in my life because...there was a little thing (nothin serious or like whoa haha) that got me thinkin...ive always been more of a i love God more than the political parties and their members. This has to some of conversations where because i am in these spaces...people think i am "different" or think like everyone else. Im very bill headed and if i believe something, ain't no amount of smooth talking getting me away from that thought... I had to explain to someone, you'll never know who imma vote for because it's none of your business. Ive seen hate come out of that... I'm not giving it ammo and they said "as long as know who to vote for" it led me to kinda preaching..."i care more about sharing the gospel and lettin folk know about how good God is than, if this politician is less evil than ths other, id rather be know for my view and faithfulness to jesus than mg politics because from what i read...jesus aint finna ask me about why i voted for so and so lol...i want to follow Him in everything and i want others to know how much He loves us. Only sign imma have in my yard is gonna be one about Jesus!! Lol not some political sign..." This got me thinking about... how do i share the Gospel to people... how do i share it with black folk... how do i stay me and man... this was great and I'm glad i heard this today because i had a similar journey lol

Although James Baldwin never said it, I think he would agree that Country & God (Allah, Yaweh, Brahma et ali) are two potent poisons served to all when young: as such, reason has its work cut out to dig all of us out of this lethal quagmire of mind and heart.

What Eldrige Cleaver can teach us about Israel. However, after spending time in various communist countries, including Cuba and Algeria, Cleaver’s views began to shift dramatically. He became disillusioned with communism upon witnessing human rights abuses and systemic racism in these nations. This exposure led him to reevaluate his previous positions on several issues, including his stance on Israel. By the mid-1970s, upon returning to the United States after years abroad, Cleaver publicly renounced his earlier anti-Zionist views. He began to advocate for democracy and freedom while defending Israel against accusations of racism. In writings from this period, he condemned anti-Semitic sentiments and highlighted the historical suffering of Jewish people. He also criticized Arab nations for their own racist practices towards Black individuals. Cleaver’s transformation culminated in his defense of Zionism during a time when it was being attacked by various political factions. He argued that condemning Zionism as racist was unjust given the historical context of Jewish persecution and emphasized that many Arabs exhibited racist behaviors themselves. In summary, Eldridge Cleaver did become a supporter of Zionism later in life, particularly after recognizing the complexities surrounding issues of race and oppression globally.

With Americans, unfortunately, it always starts with a support for israel as a result of the well organized and executed propaganda program but then they “see the light” when they start digging deeper and learning more. This is why zionists want Americans to remain ignorant about the history and facts about Palestine but luckily we have technology and democratization of information now.

I could relate the Paleta guy (as we say here in Texas)heladero . We moved a lot when I was a kid. And I started working in restaurant when I was 14, I made my own job waitressing, by bringing people sandwiches that they ordered at the counter. I sold things in high school like gum and candy. As his Aunt said -I couldn't afford to be shy.

I will forever be grateful to my mother who got radicalized in college in the 1950’s. From my earliest memories she instilled in me a moral framework that has served me well. She encouraged me to read widely about all sorts of things, and most importantly oppression, racism, social justice. We shared a particular love for Mr Baldwin - a giant among men.

zionism and anti-blackness are bedfellows. it’s not about religion or faith. they thrive on each other based on the shared profit of the devaluation and dehumanization of Black and Brown bodies. #KnowYourEnemy
