Cleary has that finesse and control that Lockyer had. Even at the age Cleary is, he is classes in front of most the halves in today’s game. Long way to the levels of qld greats *Lockyer, Thurston, Cronk* and John’s. At least 2 Premierships wins. He’d be in the ranks of those guys.

Mate knights were without Buderus and Simpson in this match. Lockyers origin record against Johns is horrible. Johns is a far better player

Hodges move to fullback was the difference. Also in the grandfinal. After what here did at fullback he should have worn the 1 for Australia. Who knows what could have been? Karmichael had no right taking back the fullback spot after Justine Hodges proved it. Hodges does t play fullback broncos don’t win the grandfinal never mind make it to the grandfinal. Hodges was the difference.
