yeah if the hotshoe is covered it wont be possible to use it, luckily the Smallrig cage for the fx3 and fx30 has a seperate bit that comes off so it can be used.

Great video, the googles 3 only have a 44 degree FOV which is perhaps why the screens seem clearer, this is a downgrade from the goggles 2 IMO, have you noticed the difference ?
@filmmakerevolution3 ай бұрын
Not really noticed any difference to be honest, the clarity is ace & the fit is way more comfortable. Plus small things like the pass through & the defogging function make them great to use

That bit that initially snapped that seems to be holding the lens together - the plastic arms go over the follow focus rings, so you can't rotate them over 60 degrees or something. Or am I missing something?
@filmmakerevolution7 ай бұрын
No I doesn’t actually hold it together, there’s grub screws and the front rings that hold it together mostly, you can choose not to put that part on there if you so wish 😃😃
@piotrch07 ай бұрын
1. If I did put it on, then how do I use the focus ring? Doesn't it obstruct it partly? 2. If it's not there to hold the housing (or case, more like) together, then what's it purpose? @@filmmakerevolution

Another thing to consider is the windows on the car, they'd look good with some transparency to let some of the background details through. for example if you look through the windows of the BMW you can see the interior (Although very subtle) and also some of the elements behind the car. Awesome stuff though man!
@filmmakerevolution8 ай бұрын
Yeah solid point! Definitely going to try that next time, just need to figure out the interface a bit more first lol 😂 Thanks 😊

Hi, I am actually thinking of doing a similar scene. I have recently conducted some live-action CG compositing tests for learning purposes. Here are some things that might be helpful for you, as they helped me achieve good results. Firstly, use real-place HDRI's/360 image of the actual scene to cache reflections onto the surface, Make sure its 32 bit, that way you won't have to manually add lights in the scene. For compositing, I mostly rely on whites and blacks. Match these with the CG by keeping the actual footage as a reference, and afterward, you can apply a power grade on top of them. Use raw format for videos if you can. They are usually the best to work with.
@filmmakerevolution8 ай бұрын
Thanks man those are awesome tips. I did actually use a hdri that i shot using the insta360 one X2 but didn't realise it should be 32 bit. Defo giving this another go soon. Thanks again for the advice bro
@Kazmi_168 ай бұрын
@@filmmakerevolution Yeh hdri's are the best, make sure to calibrate them as well with the footage, that way you'll have amazing natural reflections on the surface, nonetheless amazing video man 🙌
@filmmakerevolution8 ай бұрын
Thanks much appreciated man. Ah ok, so hopw to calibrate them?@@Kazmi_16
@Kazmi_168 ай бұрын
@@filmmakerevolution Since you are taking an hdri using insta360. The best way is to stack multiple exposures, or 12 stack bracketing to achieve the maximum dynamic range. There is going to be color distinctness between the actual footage and the hdri's, so to fix that, you'll have to calibrate the R,G,B values of HDRI with the footage using photoshop.

This pop up on my yt shorts feed so imma comment to help you with the algo ! My main criticism is that your transcribe moves too much (wiggly) and too fast. Probably use 2-3 words in a sentence instead of 1. The intro definitely grab my attention so probably that’s the only wiggly part that I need ? The audio and the song also clash imo. The song throw me off a little bit since it affect the audio clarity of what you’re saying (english is my second language) best of luck on your KZbin journey mate !
