Buzz word junkie title ...First off, no one but a PRO or someone trying some ~national-level running actually needs to know their V02 #... So 95% of the people running have no real use of this number. This number is in all of us and yes it does matter ..lol But, like an IQ, we all have that number and who cares what it actually is? lol Trying to raise either of these numbers is NOT a stroll in the park... Git it? lol

This is soooo good . Started on keto in 2017 with Dr. berg Then switched to carnivore/ Ketovore in 2023. At almost 76, I feel better now that I did in my 20’s . Pretty amazing. As far as working out, all I do is walk my dog . And my dog is now on carnivore too . His hair is shiny. His eyes are bright, more loving, and he has energy off the charts.. he was a rescue and the meat has actually made him more lovable, which I never thought he could get but what a difference….and more calm . Pretty amazing ! He’s only 4 years old . We’ve had him since 2019 and the rescue shelter said that according to his teeth he was about a year old, so at 4 years old he’s still kind of a puppy.

Why do people calmly discuss Ancel Keys as if he didn’t fake his data? The guy was a charlatan and a monster, and totally sold out to big agriculture, and the McGovern commission was nothing but a huge money grab for grain producing states such as McGovern’s.

The word " Diet " does not do it justice and , actually , is a misnomer.The Professionals who educate us about its usefulness are invaluable and , surely , prevent innumerable metabolic illnesses / Human Suffering , and Tax expenditure on medical treatments.Thank you.

This comment is for the person doing the video. In order for us to see this on video, In future videos The camera needs to stay longer on the slides while the man is talking.They flip by so quickly We can't even read everything it's on there. The audience gets the advantage of being able to look at the slides All through the talk. So when you record future videos keep that in mind. the food manufacturers use the fat/sugar paradigm to their advantage, fat makes you fat, it's easy for people who are asleep to believe this because it makes sense but far from the truth. wheat and sugar make the most profit, wheat and sugar create the most illness, people in high positions ignore this and favour these billion dollar super corps, all smoke and mirrors general shadyness and fake media/politicians.

@@fromthepeanutgallery1084 I had an enormous essay typed up to answer you, but I accidentally clicked on something and it all disappeared. Suffice to say Agoge (not Spartan, not low-carb) is purely unfounded nonsense cooked up by a vegan huckster named Valter Longo who conned UCLA out of a degree by torturing yeast and lab mice. Fasting, but you must eat every 4 hours; low carb, but you eat plant-based including fruits (fructose) and grains (starch glucose). It's just a bunch of nonsense to sell you a $300 package of kale chips and hibiscus tea (seriously! His actual offer!). The ketogenic diet is low carb (10%) high fat (70%) moderate protein (20%): Eggs, meat, fish, some dairy (whole fat, limit the lactose). Fast if you want, but don't have to (the fat and protein will suppress your appetite). Sugars burn fast and need replenishing, fats burn slow and you have plenty already stored and ready for use on your mom- or dad-bod when your metabolism switches to fat-burning. For proof, just take a gram of sugar and a milliliter of oil and burn them, see which last longer. But there are clinical and epidemiological studies that support this, if they're unbiased. Lots of benefits: prevention and rehabilitation of type II diabetes, prevention of atherosclerosis and heart disease, prevention of fatty liver disease, decreased inflammation, promotion of brain function and cognition, even increased resistance to coronavirus and even some cancers. A lot of pharmaceuticals like metformin and statins mimic the effects of ketogenesis (although drug manufacturers won't tell you this).
@fromthepeanutgallery10842 жыл бұрын
@@hektor6766 I have done a lot of research on Keto, the problem I can see with it is it lands up being very high in fat and protein. Seems like some studies have found, that one can eat fruit and grains and provided one does not eat fat with it, it will not spike blood sugar. High fat causes weight gain and too much protein (in my opinion is very taxing on the organs) So I am going back to healthy low/med fat. medium protein, higher vegetables, minimal grains fruit and starches. very very little processed foods and sugar. Thanks for your info.

Agoge diet is a complete fraud. Ancient Spartan and Hippocratic my aunt Fanny. Unfounded, untested on anything bigger than a lab mouse, contradictory, unreasoned, unscientific vegan bullcrap. $300 for kale chips, hibiscus tea and a load of bullshit. Valter Longo should be incarcerated.

The most dangerous and punishing diet of these mentioned, is the so-called standard, high carbohydrate diet. Which is in fact a modern fad, since before the 1970's, the usual standard diet was lower in carbohydrate, than that recommended in the 'food pyramid'.

Just eat more vegetables fruits legumes grains spices nuts and seeds. You automatically find yourself eating what the body needs. Research has shown that embracing this type of a diet plus low fat diet can cure type 2diabetes. The body needs starch for energy supply.
