Who is your state NEA PRESIDENT? What views do they have about all this? Were they brought up in any biblical background? I know some in our union here are not on board with woke. They are trying to walk that fine line between honoring the rights of every diversity but not sure how to navigate the legal battles involved. So many automatically accuse ALL of being on-board with the edicts from DC because they need the funding for the public schools. Most states budgets aren't equipped to cover all the cost of the public school system. #1 the lower income states in rural Midwest. I know this because I and my son have had many arguments over this. I am hopeful that more Christian adminstrators and teachers that "worm" their way into the unions to lead them to taking a constitutional stance inside the NEA unions and teachers union. My son has enough biblical background to not cave on important values of the citizens of our state. Even he was fooled about the direction this was going to eventually lead. Staunch Dem $$$ supporters because they quid pro quo funds for votes. All the unions do this. Have for years. Time to be Republican advocates of helping the school system survive with Constitutional values and press the party to get them the funds they need if three state funds aren't there due to high poverty, limited quality teachers in rural America who are as Barak called them " bible thumping, gun toting backwoods red-necks."

But castigating fellow Christians, putting them down, stating that they aren't really Christians unless they follow along with your political views, and then never even addressing how you castigated people? That says an awful lot about your character.

I applaud Jessica and the courage that God has given her to stand up for what is right. I am dumbfounded as to how the Government feels that they have the right to impose on a parents right to raise their children in a way that they see fit. I was bullied as a little girl, which lasted into adulthood. My mother started cutting my hair like a boy when I was 5. At 11, I got my first pair of blue jeans. And I wore boys colorful pull over tshirts, and thought I wanted to be a boy. By 13 yrs old, I let my hair grow long. I began dressing like a girl. I wore makeup. Snd I was happy in my girlie life. Thank GOD the Govt was not in charge of parental duties back then. They shouldn't now. Parents need to have the right to raise their own children with out interference, so long as there is no abuse.
