今はもう高校三年生になる息子ですが、生まれて来た時のことを思い出させてくれる名曲です。 自分自身の父親には求められなかった事情もあり、憧れの父性を謳う羨ましい曲でした。この曲を聞いたのは大学一年生。いまから30年前…。 あれから、果たして大人になれたのか？思い描いた父親になれたのか？ まだまだ答えを出すには早いようです。

80年代、バブル華やかな六本木の地下では今はもう無いピットインでのライブに出かけておりました、とてもいい思い出です、どうしてセールスビデオとして出版、販売が無かったのか不思議でした、私の記憶の中でだけで20年間ほど持ってましたが、、、まさかデレクご本人からの映像提供なんて驚くばかりです 2013.06の再結成第二弾のブルーノート東京のライブにはなぜデレクご本人が参加されないのか？不満はそこだけです（笑）
