Thank you so much Wynton. According to me you're the best teacher i found, up to now. Looking at you playing, is the best lesson(s). Thank you.

Almighty God this has to be one of the greatest trumpet renditions and technical execution I have ever experienced in my life. Mercy the sheer scintillating brilliance beyond measure here in a word is "fabulousness"

3:05 is absolutely crazy. You could hear another jazz group playing a set a the same festival, Wynton took the line he just heard and threw it into his solo

And then 5 minutes later he authentically plays the Haydn concerto. There may not be such a thing as the "greatest trumpet player" but if there is, it's Mr. Marsalis.

Amazing how he makes 6 minutes of playing feel like a lifetime. Not my favorite version of the song but undeniably beautiful.

Masterful playing by all, I especially enjoy Wes Anderson's performance on this one though. On another note, I have to say I dont particularly enjoy the piano's recording. The playing is fabulous, but the recording is too dry IMO, it almost sound MIDI esque.

"The infernal march" is common name of thos type of sound. For marketing and export, not for real consuming. For music, there is Arturo Sandoval.
