Thank you for this video. I have a low revving engine. Its a daily driver. I have the crank out for block reboring. I just plastigage the rod bearings and all are between 0.0015 and 0,002 inches. within spec. visually the crank journalss and all bearings look great. there is the #4 Rod Bearing with a slight scratch but finger nail does not catch on it. that crank journal location has a little discolored spot but smooth. The Machinist mixed up my main bearings, what should I do? Thanks

I think our boy got intimidated by the industry, it's all a my D is bigger than Your Y thing. When it's who has the best pocket, or best knowledge. The industry is to the point of being avoided due to the obvious source behind this, and the hot potato playing on this topic. Somebody I presume wants this video due to that or "else".

Copy and paste file for your car, said no great tuner ever. Let's see if this file works, oops. So much lies, best one is 'here is another 100NM's of torque for free'' You must seriously have no understanding of the basic fundamentals of engine's to make a statement like that. Second biggest lie, just manipulate that MAF sensor in your intake. No, you recalibrate the MAF sensor. COBB intake system for Subaru, has a bigger MAF sensor fitted for exactly this reason. The upgraded MAF sensor accounts for the bigger intake. Your MAF sensor is scaled to the factory specs, so now you go and fit a bigger sized intake, don't recalibrate the MAF sensor, and all of a sudden you can have up to 30% more air entering the engine which is unaccounted for by the ECU. Then you wonder why engines break. Cant even get the first step in tuning right. The story that you can't tune for efficiency, rubbish. The reason you say that is you tune only on WOT (wide open Throttle) So you completely ignore the data at cruising. Perfect if it is a drag car that get placed on a trailer. But that is not the case, most people spend most of their time driving in the cruise area, not WOT the whole day. No guys, if you are going to take peoples hard earned money, make sure you know what you are doing, or be honest and tell your customer, you use copy and paste files because you don't really understand the basic fundamentals of tuning.

Need VE ECU with out a MSF to be Tier 2 ECU? Does not make sense. Tuning VE maps without a MAF can be more complex, as it often requires more data logging and adjustments to ensure optimal performance across different operating condition. Proper calibration of VE tables is crucial. This often involves dyno testing or using wideband oxygen sensors to achieve accurate air-fuel ratios.

BS!!!!! At around 14:45 in this video I heard enough of this sales pitch. Firstly, any Subaru owner will never tune their car on Tier 1 software, doesn't matter which way you spin it. Why on earth will you want to ignore Subaru OEM Advanced Warning Systems, and rather tune on software that will do a hard cut when it is to late? (not sure if the hard cut explained means limp mode or engine broken) That car comes with advanced electronics, sensors, turbo actuation, injector pulse, cam angel, etc, etc. All communicating to a brilliantly designed ECU. It determines everything, from speed sensors at every wheel (making traction control so brilliant) , to your engine protection strategy, like taking into consideration the 'fuel film on last cylinder' you referred to. Respectfully Sir, if you are going to attack ECU's that are not even in your league, you need to advise your customers that those same ECU buyers will know that they also need a Power Control Module. Already equipped to read any and every sensor available on the market. I will make an educated guess, but I am sure most people on this platform are not too worried about pulling boats to the Vaal river. That is like being stuck in the 90's while the tuning world has evolved. And if you are still stuck there, hopefully you know someone with a 3L Ford Cortina, nothing will get you there more in style. Especially if that Cortina is bagged!

Respectfully said, that is the worst tuning advice I have ever heard. If Max ECU can auto tune fuelling by just driving, that makes Max ECU better than, let's say Haltech. What you are describing is called a histogram, that is another tool in the tuners tool box, not a solution. Rapid acceleration is going to cause fuel enrichment, making that data useless. Any ECU needs a base map to start the car. Those maps are not deleted when you add another map. That is the reason why a good tuner will never tune a car in 1 hour. It is impossible to address all the maps that needs attention. That is also the reason why your car looses power after a tune. The ECU works according to an algorithm. So if it is not happy with the tune, it is going to refer back to the base tune, adjusting fuelling and timing (if you are lucky enough for your ECU to detect detonation before your engine blows up) A good tuner will request the car back after about 1000 km's to check what changes incurred after the tune, and then adjust the tune in a manner that the ECU accepts. It's called smooth transitioning, whether it is for boost, or VVT. Saying that, VVT tuning will take at least 3 hours, as there are 5 maps before VVT kicks in, and another 5 maps after. Software without knock detection is bad, engines are not cheap to fix.

This is good stuff, Thanks! I renovated an old ford diesel. Put new bearings in conrods and crankshaft. Camshaft bearing was like new, so I didnt change them. New oilpump as well. Start up and idling for some minutes. Engine seized. Turnsout the oil pressure dropped at the camshaft, so mains didnt get pressure. So maybe do all bearings at once?

The difference between the Golf 7 GTI and the Golf 7.5 GTI are in the Seats, Headlights and Tail lights On the Golf 7 GTI you will find black leather seats and U shaped Head lights. On the Golf 7.5 GTI you will find Black Leather Seats with red stitching on them. You will also find L shaped LED head lights and different updated LED Tail lights that swipe when indicators or harzards are on.

The banging is actually bad for the engine, as the explosions in the exhaust does go back up into the engine and will damage it.
