I am 15 yrs out from my bunionectomy. My surgeon never told me to stretch my foot, massage the scar...nothing. I have watched so many unhelpful videos like this one and am just coming on here to share this video with fellow people looking for relief - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJDJiKiEebachK8si=dGvAwZYd28jyR7eg

@Brittany.Anderson8 ай бұрын
@pinkxpopsiclexlips it went well. I don't remember much from it, sadly. I had the surgeries over 20 years ago. I also didn't have any complications during my recovery, unlike I had after broken kneecap surgery. I do have pain from time to time but it is minor.

I had surgery for this back in 2020, I thought that my foot would’ve gotten better after the surgery if I kept at the physical therapy. It never got better, I struggle everyday trying to work, when I come home my foot feels loose like I can’t walk in it anymore. After the surgery, my bones that were supposedly cut into two rejoined and it made my foot worse. I take pills and massage it to get better for work the next day, I don’t know what else I can do I want to get back my foot, right now I don’t have the range of motion as my right foot. I don’t know what to do, before u think about surgery consult a good doctor and tell them the chance of getting your foot feeling right cause some doctors only want to practice on your foot they couldn’t care less if they do it wrong.

Hi my name is a Mackie, I am 14 and I had Tarsal Coalition. About a month ago on Valentine’s Day I had surgery. I am in a boot and am starting to put more and more pressure on it.
My experience was exactly as explained. I had both feet done one week apart and both times walked out of surgery to my car. One week later I drive myself to my first checkup. Dr Blitz lives up to everything he promises, a miracle worker. Many people who had traditional bunion surgeries have had horrific experiences which is why I waited over a decade to have mine done with a new patented procedure that has me walking without any assistance and working only days after each of my two surgeries

Where are the exercises for strengthening the foot? Bunions are caused by weak feet, I know several people who've had bunion surgery and within 10 years they are getting bunions again because they haven't treated the underlying cause. I decided against surgery and was shown how to get my feet to work properly again. It's taken 3 years but I now have strong arches, not flat feet, and my bunions are about 20% of the size they were and no longer hurt. So sad that allopathic doctors continually treat symptoms without addressing the cause of problems.

I had this surgery. My pain has only increased after the surgery. I am an athlete. I run cross country and track and field. I also play soccer. Through all of my activities I managed to fracture my ankle a lot. I recently fractured my ankle so my doctor recommend the surgery, and said I would love it so much I would want it on my other foot. The truth is my foot has only gotten worse. He did not inform me that this could happen and I wish he told me about the other options I could have done before like trying physical therapy or injections. Although I know it is not common for people to feel more pain after the surgery. Overall my greatest advice would be to check all of your options and make sure the surgery is truly right for you.

hi, i got diagnosed with tarsal coalition in december 2018 and had it my whole life. i finally got surgery in march 2019, and i thought it had worked. i was so happy, then this past year i got my first job and was on my feet a lot and that’s when i realized something was wrong. i would come home, limping and could hardly walk. apparently my surgery wasn’t a success, which does unfortunately happen sometimes. my bones fused together which has been causing extreme pain especially when irritated. i’m getting another surgery this year, a subtalar fusion to just get rid of my range of motion completely since it’s pretty much already gone and it should get rid of the pain. i just hope it finally works cause the pain is so so annoying.

I'm 24 and my tarsal coalition has greatly reduced the quality of my life. Saw a doctor this march and he said Botox injections was the only thing he could do. He did the injections but its starting to wear off so I'm going to get a second and maybe a third opinion because I want the coalition fixed for good not just temporarily.
@davidjimenez51006 жыл бұрын
Hunter Lodge Stables same! I’m turning 23 this year and there are times after work and class when I’m literally LIMPING because of the pain and inflammation in my left ankle. It’s so frustrating because my right ankle is perfectly fine! my tarsal coalition literally holds me back. I do everything I can to manipulate my weight and posture in beneficial ways, and using “arch support” insoles makes the pain in my left ankle so much worse. We need real correction!!
@HunterLodgeStables6 жыл бұрын
David Jimenez No kidding my left ankle has completely locked itself in place with my toes flipped up to deal with the pain. However my right ankle is totally normal so while my left ankle has locked up and flipped up my toes I've been putting all my weight on my right foot.
@christopherbrauer73455 жыл бұрын
Hunter Lodge Stables Commenting a year later, but I also have a tarsal coalition in my left foot. I’m 21 and after running a summer camp and sports classes, I am literally hopping on my right foot home. My left foot is completely flat and smacks the floor, and I feel my brace isn’t helping at all even though I’ve had it reshaped 2 times. My right one is also normal and I am so thankful that it is so I can shift my weight or hop on it.
