I'm looking to trace the retirement dates and scrapping of all the MEC high hood locomotives, would you know when all these units were last operated and ultimately scrapped?

All of them were scrapped at Waterville in 2020. 370-371-373-378-379 were cut up by 11/29/2020 374-376-377-380-382 were scrapped by the end of December 2020.

Yes they did and the oil trains ran all the time from 2012 to 2015. This was the only loaded one I caught on video so I'm not to sure how often they would send up the loaded ones though.

Thanks! and yes it's certainly is sad that they are all gone and the -2C's are rebuilt. I am glad I was able to catch these while they were still around. 2014-2015 were the last years for the screamers before they were taken out of service for good.

Great catches as always the 3400's were some of best locomotives pan am had loved the k5lla's on them they sounded different

Because if there are more ALC-42's numbering in the 400 series they had to voided the NPCU in the 90400 series.

Thanks! and yes they have been very long lately and late as well due to a crew shortage again. The best part for me was seeing all of them in daylight since they normally run overnight.
