Katerina really blows this role out of the water, even better than the Broadway leads. Her voice is so unique and classic, something this show begs for but we don’t get with Lea Michele or Julie Benko. You’re right about the male lead, his voice just didn’t work for me. Katerina’s voice just dominates the entire time. They needed someone vocally stronger for Arnstein.

Agree. She was like the best modern singer I may have ever seen sining this style of music. She is a complete natural. I also got to see her understudy Hannah Shenkman do it and she was also up there - incredible. Can easily say both these ladies were better than the leading ladies on Broadway

Yeah, this is been going on for a long time and it just keeps getting worse and worse. They’re thinking I might have to have surgery because part of it has died and if it doesn’t absorb back into my body blah blah blah anyway thank you for responding. I’m glad that everything worked out for you. OK fingers crossed.

Here it is 10 years later, and I have just been diagnosed with the same thing. I have been in pain for a long time. It goes away. Comes back strong. I haven’t slept in the last three days. I can’t believe that. I have something that is so rare.did you actually go away with just medication? Are you doing OK now? Did it ever come back? I hope you’re doing well.
@SamiCone3 ай бұрын
I'm so sorry you're dealing with it too. It did end up going away and never came back. I've heard a lot of different stories from others though, so I don't think there's any one clear path with this.

Saw this show in Durham and thought it was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen on the stage. The dancing is amazing!! While I agree with you that the songs are not typical Broadway blockbusters, the songs serve the show well. I still have the music in my head and catch myself singing, “Eleanor Roosevelt……” or “Easy Peasy……”!

Our daughter has incidents of choking but not in the normal sense. She occasionally swallows a piece of food that she hadn’t chewed adequately and it sticks in her esophagus. It has never kept her from breathing but it is painful. If it doesn’t eventually go down with water, Sprite, a bite of bread or water, we once had it extracted in the ER. Would this device work to remove the food stuck in this manner?
@TheSamiConeShow3 ай бұрын
First of all, let me say I'm so sorry your daughter is experiencing that! That must be so scary as her mom. Because I'm not a doctor, I hesitate to say whether or not this device could help with that specific incident, but I would imagine it could. Best of luck to you and your family!

“The Boys in the Boat” Really thought this was an excellent film. I rowed in college so was interested in the true story and appreciated the book. Had an old school value to it that reminded me of great sports films from back in the day. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Heard it sucked. Did George whip his penis out and show everybody like he did on the set of Rosanne? Even to the kids?

I saw this movie last night for AMC's Sight Unseen. It was inert and trite, a disappointment with a select few glimmers of quality, just enough to let you know what might have been. The direction was the chief weakness, with repetitive scences and two-dimensional characters.

In my humble opinion, I see the film as a bit flat to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the creation of Disney, the 2D and 3D style does not bother me, I like the design of the landscapes in general, leaving aside the protagonists, the I didn't like the design of the other characters and the color palette is too pale for my taste. The soundrack is the most redeeming thing about the movie, I really like the way it sounds. BUT the main problem is the plot itself, you have the ruler who grants wishes (the villain, who doesn't look like one to my eyes) and the princess, both have different points of view when it comes to wishes, Aisha thinks that everyone deserves their wishes to be granted, and the king thinks that not all of them can be granted, for the safety of the kingdom, and I lean more towards his argument. He is not a bad ruler and he does not seem like a bad husband, he is quite fair with everyone, the only flaw I find in him is a little narcissistic, a little in the Gaston style but passable. I don't know how they can turn the screw on this because I find it a little difficult, but I could be wrong and it ends up being a good movie, you just have to wait and see it. I would have liked the theme of granting wishes to the stars to have gone towards a more celestial and magical theme, a kingdom of heaven where wishes can be granted to those with a good heart, where the highest authority is the blue fairy... I don't know something like that.

I like your idea of the blue fairy

I also imagined, that instead of the Scoop with new characters, maybe use their mascot Mickey, Who protects the wishes from the hands of evil or something like that. A fantasy style movie
