My favorite dog breed, even though calling them a dog never felt right with my my female, Tri colored Jungle Dog. Almost like a super smart, sophisticated fox, or dingo, or New Guinea singing dog. A Basenji is definitely their own thing. If you want a golden retriever, or German Shepherd type dog, Do not get a Basenji. My girlie passed away at almost 16 on Holy Saturday 2023. Best friend I've ever had. Fantastic, empathetic companion without being too clingy. If trained correctly, respected, exercised, and treated like an equal family member a Basenji will almost become human. Most unique pet I've ever had. Love that Sensen as much as I loved anything. Mine is an excellent judge of character. If you're not trustworthy he knows it and will herd you towards the exit. His tntelligence and intuition amaze me. Angels led him to my door. A young longhaired dumped. Only the 2nd I'd seen in person but I knew what he was the moment I opened the door and he walked in like he owned the place. Turns out, he did. He's keeping my left hip warm like he has every morning since he found me. Chasing rabbits. So protective of me.

Number seven is not a staffordshire bull terrier it’s an American staffordshireterrier/American pit bull. The staffordshire bull terrier is smaller.

The dachshund is not a lap dog, you can have all sorts of adventures with him, even though he is so small, or because he is so small, you can take him with you everywhere
